PBS Masterpiece announced that the popular detective series, Miss Scarlet, will conclude after its seventh season.
Miss Scarlet, with Kate Phillips in the lead role, quickly gained a dedicated following. The show blends classic detective work reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes with romance, humor, and realistic drama. Since debuting on Masterpiece Mystery in 2021, it’s stood out as one of the few series still released yearly, currently boasting 36 episodes with another six already planned.
PBS has announced that filming is underway for the seventh and last season of the show. Kate Phillips, the new lead actor Tom Durant-Pritchard, and the rest of the cast – including Paul Bazely, Tim Chipping, Evan McCabe, Felix Scott, Cordelia Bugeja, and Ansu Kabia – are all back for the final season.
