TLPH kept their championship hopes alive by defeating ONIC ID in the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage, continuing their run in the tournament.

ONIC ID and Team Liquid PH battled fiercely on day three of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M7 World Championship knockout stage. With so much on the line, the losing team would be eliminated, meaning only one regional champion would advance.

Here’s a quick summary of the ONIC ID versus TLPH match from Day 3 of the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage.

ONIC ID vs TLPH: M7 Knockout Stage Day 3 Recap

Game 1

The first game started with a big team fight just two minutes in, as both teams fought for the first Turtle. Team Liquid PH took the Turtle, but lost two players in the process. For a while, the teams traded kills evenly, and neither got a clear advantage. However, by six minutes, Team Liquid PH started to take control, with players Sanford and Oheb playing exceptionally well and winning a lot of fights. By ten minutes, they had a large lead in kills and used it to push for the Lord, forcing the opposing team, ONIC ID, back to their base. By fourteen minutes, ONIC ID had lost all of their turrets, leaving their base vulnerable. A final attempt by ONIC ID to fight back failed, and Team Liquid PH secured a decisive victory in Game 1.

Game 2

In Game 2, Team Liquid PH continued to play very aggressively, constantly looking for early fights. This put ONIC ID on the defensive, forcing them to struggle for control of the map and survive repeated team battles. Sanford’s Lapu-Lapu and Oheb’s Sora were dominant again, and ONIC ID couldn’t find a way to counter them. Around the 15-minute mark, ONIC ID tried to take the Lord, but failed, losing several players in the process. This allowed Team Liquid PH to push down the middle lane with the Lord. Although ONIC ID defended well several times, they were eventually forced out of their base for a final showdown. A cannon minion from Team Liquid PH broke through their defenses and, with the help of the rest of the team, secured the win.

Game 3

Facing elimination, ONIC ID took a big risk in the final match of the series, and it paid off. They quickly gained an advantage, leading by 1,700 gold and securing six kills within the first three minutes. From there, they dominated. Kairi’s incredible performance on Yi Sun-Shin led to a huge kill streak, giving him eight kills by the seven-minute mark. Team Liquid PH couldn’t handle the pressure and found themselves constantly on the defensive. Despite their efforts to fight back, they couldn’t defeat any ONIC ID players. With complete control of the map and its resources, ONIC ID launched a decisive attack on the mid lane at the 11-minute mark, wiping out the entire Team Liquid PH team and winning the game to stay in the competition.

Game 4

Building on their previous win, ONIC ID started the fourth game aggressively. However, Team Liquid PH successfully defended against their initial attacks. The game stayed fairly even until about five minutes in, when Oheb was ambushed in the Gold Lane. Team Liquid PH quickly retaliated by eliminating Luo Yi with SANZ, giving them an advantage across the map. This allowed them to secure three Turtles and the first Lord by the nine-minute mark, while ONIC ID failed to get any major objectives. With strong control of the map, Team Liquid PH forced Kairi to play defensively. ONIC ID tried a risky team fight at 17 minutes, but it went poorly, and they lost the entire fight. Team Liquid PH then quickly moved to destroy ONIC ID’s base, winning the series 3–1.

“We’ll give it our all just to get this one,” Oheb explains how TLPH will stop at nothing to get their M7 Golden Road dream

After defeating ONIC ID, TLPH will continue competing in the M7 World Championship. Following the match, TLPH’s key player, Oheb, explained in an interview that the team is fully committed to reaching their ultimate goal, no matter the challenges they face.

No matter the difficulty or cost, we’ll do everything we can to achieve this goal.

Watching the lower bracket is always so intense! Knowing one loss means elimination really puts the pressure on every team, and you can tell they’re leaving it all on the stage, no matter how tough the situation. As a fan, I’m really hoping TLPH can make a run through this gauntlet and get to the grand finals of the M7 World Championship. It would be absolutely legendary if they did – they’d be the first team ever to win every official MLBB esports championship title! I’m on the edge of my seat!
