World Cricket Championship 4 (WCC4) is now available for pre-registration on Android devices. This allows cricket fans to get ready for the newest game in Nextwave Multimediaโ€™s well-known mobile series. Based on whatโ€™s been shown, WCC4 promises a more detailed and realistic cricket experience compared to earlier versions.

World Cricket Championship 4 focuses on visual enhancements and squad building

This game focuses heavily on building and managing your team. You’ll create a 24-player squad from a roster of over 100 real-world players. It seems like a card-collecting and progression system where choosing a captain is one of the first steps. Each player has their own strengths and ways of playing.

In WCC4, your success depends on building a fanbase. How well you play determines whether you gain or lose fans, and your total fan count affects your division. Climbing to higher divisions gives you access to more powerful players and better prizes.

Honestly, the gameplay is where this game really shines. They’ve totally revamped how you bat and bowl, and it feels so much more natural and accurate now. Plus, the computer opponent actually reacts to what’s happening in the game, and the difficulty level changes depending on how well I’m doing โ€“ which is awesome because it keeps things challenging without being frustrating.

WCC4 takes things further with a completely revamped physics engine, making ball movement, hits, and player actions more realistic. The game also boasts stunning, lifelike visuals, including detailed player models, improved stadiums, and smoother animations.

When WCC4 was first announced last December, I questioned if it was needed, as the original three games were already quite good and an update to the third one seemed sufficient. But now, it’s clear the developers are taking a different direction.

It looks like this update is really geared towards building fantasy teams and playing online. I haven’t seen anything about a traditional career mode, so it seems like this is mainly for people who enjoy player-versus-player competition.

You can now pre-register for World Cricket Championship 4 on Android through the Google Play Store. Pre-registration for iOS isnโ€™t available yet, and we donโ€™t have a release date for it just yet. Weโ€™ll share more information about the release soon, so check back for updates.
