A film based on the world of Game of Thrones is being developed, focusing on the history of the Targaryen family, even though a new TV series set in the same universe is also currently being made.
Warner Bros. is reportedly working on a film about Aegon’s Conquest, the historical event from the world of Game of Thrones. Beau Willimon, known for House of Cards and Andor, has already written a first draft of the script. This project overlaps with a separate Aegon’s Conquest series being developed for HBO by writer Mattson Tomlin, according to The Wrap.
