Damian Lewis and girlfriend Alison Mosshart are seen together for the first time in nine months as they head to the Chateau Marmont

Damian Lewis and Alison Mosshart were spotted together publicly for the first time in nine months, arriving at the Chateau Marmont hotel.

The 55-year-old actor and the 47-year-old musician have been a couple for two years, ever since they were first seen together in the summer of 2022.

At the Actor Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Damian Lewis, known for his role in Homeland, presented an award with his former co-star, Claire Danes.

Following the event, Damian and his girlfriend Alison were seen together in public for the first time in a while as they went to the Chateau Marmont, a fancy hotel on Sunset Boulevard.

For the evening, Damian dressed in a white suit jacket and shirt with black tailored pants.

Alison, the singer for bands like The Kills and The Dead Weather, wore a black and white crocheted jacket paired with a satin shirt.

A year after his wife, Helen McCrory, sadly died from breast cancer in April 2021 at age 52, Damien began a romantic relationship with Alison. Helen had fought the illness privately for some time.

Soon after Helen passed away, Damian shared a touching remembrance of his wife in The Times. He revealed she’d encouraged him to find love again, and his children even joked that she ‘wanted daddy to have lots of girlfriends’.

Back in March, Damian supported Alison at the opening of her No Slow Songs art exhibit in New York.

Damien showed his support for Alison with a sweet gesture: he wore a leather jacket while visiting Nili Lotan’s menswear store.

He wore a jacket with a fur collar, black ripped jeans, and brown leather Chelsea boots for the outing.

This latest appearance happened just a month after Damian was seen in public with his children, Manon, 18, and Gulliver, 16, at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week.

Damian beamed with pride, hugging his children, who he shares with Helen.

In a touching tribute to his late wife Helen published in The Times, Damian shared how their children inherited many of her wonderful qualities, and spoke about the deep void her passing has left in their family.

He shared that she sadly passed away before she could see her wonderful children, Manon and Gully, grow up, but she had equipped them well for the future.

I see so much of her in them – that same bravery, quick wit, endless curiosity, incredible talent, and stunning beauty. She always encouraged us to be bold and to never let fear hold us back, and it’s clear her children have taken that to heart.

She told the children often, “Don’t be sad. I’ve had a full and happy life, and I’m ready to go.”

This appearance at fashion week follows Damian’s recent comments about the realities of family life – including the challenges of a lively household – and a parenting decision he now regrets.

Oh my gosh, you guys, he talked about his family on a podcast! It was with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Harnett on ‘Dish’ back in October, and it was SO sweet. He said they all get along amazingly, but get this – he’s not allowed to cook for his daughter anymore! Can you believe it? I’m dying! It’s just… everything about him is perfect, even the fact that he’s been banned from the kitchen. I need to listen to that podcast again immediately!

The actor, known for his role in Wolf Hall, shared that he enjoys cooking, though his daughter has now banned him from making meals for her.

‘She’s vegetarian and she’s become very particular about how she cooks. I bought her an air fryer.’
