GRYPHLINE has announced the first major update, version 1.1 – titled “Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It is Denied” – for their popular 3D industrial RPG, Arknights: Endfield. The update launches on March 12th and will include new areas, systems, playable characters (Operators), improvements, and rewards.

Arknights: Endfield Version 1.1 Update: New 6-Star Operators

So, you can look forward to new playable operators in Versian 1.1, and they’re as follows:

1. Tangtang

Tangtang is a powerful 6-Star character who specializes in dealing area-of-effect Cryo damage and providing team support. Her ultimate ability, “DA CHIEF SEES YOU!”, freezes all enemies in range – even bosses – giving your team a chance to inflict significant damage.

2. Rossi

Rossi, a powerful 6-Star Guard, is joining the team. She has a unique ability to turn an enemy’s weakness (Arts Infliction) into a major defense flaw (Vulnerability). This makes her incredibly valuable for teams that focus on Physical attacks, as she significantly boosts the damage your strongest attackers can deal.

Arknights: Endfield Version 1.1 introduces new tech, resource, logistics, area, and story expansion

In the latest update, we’re adding the Hydro Mining Rig, a new technology for gathering Cuprium, a new industrial resource. Unlike other facilities, this rig uses water flow instead of electricity, so you won’t need to connect it to a power grid.

We’ve added new tools like Conducts and Water Treatment Units to help with moving liquids over long distances and processing waste. Plus, we’ve increased the maximum number of Sky Forges you can place, which will boost production of advanced resources.

In addition to Hydro-industrialization, you’ll gain access to Qingbo Stockade, a brand new area in Wuling. The story will involve investigating this area as tensions rise between different groups with the arrival of Nefarith and Ardashir.

More free pulls, progression boosts, and limited events

Arknights: Endfield’s Version 1.1 update continues the generosity! In addition to the 135 free pulls already available, players can now earn more rewards through new beginner missions, daily login events, and other special opportunities. Here’s a breakdown of what’s on offer:

  • New Beginner Support: So, you’ll get new beginner mission rewards of 10 Chartered Headhunting Permits once you reach specific milestones in Chapter 1.
  • Sign-in Events: There’s various sign-in events coming too, like Gently Flows Qingbo and Pearl of the Pack, offering you with limited-time permits.
  • Battle Pass Update: The team has updated the Protocol Pass to now include Basic Headhunting Permits.
  • Limited-time Activities: Special activities like Exploration Day and Survival Training let’s you enjoy farming and new combat experiences with only Industrial Explosives.
  • Systemic Rewards: You’ll also receive expanded AIC Quota rewards for acquiring higher rarity operators.
  • Advanced Gear Optimization: With the Valley Multi-Line Engraving Kit available via the Stock Redistribution system, you can create Essences with three customized stats to further optimize endgame weapon builds and reduce RNG friction.
