Kirsten Dunst stood out on the red carpet at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards in Los Angeles. Her husband, Jesse Plemons, looked on with pride.
The actress arrived at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday wearing a chic black dress. It had thin spaghetti straps and a full, flowing skirt cinched at the waist with a large, eye-catching bow.
The look blended old Hollywood elegance with a contemporary feel, but it was the surprising open back that really made it stand out.
Dunst’s dress featured a dramatic open back and a simple, elegant design as she posed for photos.
She swept her blonde hair into a sophisticated updo, securing it with a black ribbon, and finished the outfit with a delicate diamond necklace.
While she performed on the carpet alone, Jesse Plemons watched from near the entrance curtains, seemingly enjoying the show before stepping forward to join her for photos.
Oh my gosh, when he finally moved closer to her, it was everything! They posed for the cameras, and the way they smiled at each other⊠you could just feel how long theyâve been together, how perfect they are for each other. It was just⊠magical!
Oh my gosh, Jesse Plemons! He looked absolutely incredible at the awards show! I mean, he’s nominated for his amazing work as Teddy in Bugonia, and his outfit was perfect â a beautifully tailored brown suit, double-breasted, with a sleek black shirt underneath. Seriously, he just gets better and better!
He’s up for the award with TimothĂ©e Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, and Michael B. Jordan, making it one of the most closely contested categories at the ceremony.
This year, the Screen Actors Guild Awardsânow officially called The Actor Awardsâchanged its name to better reflect its famous statuette, ‘The Actor.’ The ceremony will still celebrate actors recognizing the achievements of their fellow performers.
The show streams live on Netflix and features 28 categories across film and television.
Dunst and Plemons’ red carpet appearance comes nearly a decade after their relationship began.Â
The pair met while working on Fargo in 2015 and have been together since roughly March 2016.Â
They became engaged in 2017 and married in July 2022. The couple share two children.
Dunst previously reflected on their early connection in a 2021 interview with the LA Times.
We connected creatively right away. He felt like a true creative partner, and we just clicked. Working on Fargo, I realized after only a couple of weeks that Iâd known him forever. A friend reminded me that I actually said I knew weâd be connected for life â it was just that strong and immediate.
In a January interview with W magazine, Dunst revealed the one reality show they both enjoy.
She mentioned she loves ‘Below Deck,’ and it’s the one show she and her husband enjoy watching together. She believes it’s important to find something you both like.
