Lily Allen breaks cover as reason for her last minute BRIT Awards no show is revealed following shock snub

Lily Allen was seen at Euston Station on Sunday, heading off on tour. This appearance came after it was explained why she didn’t attend the BRIT Awards.

The 40-year-old singer, surprisingly overlooked in all three nominated categories, kept a low profile in a double-breasted coat and hid behind sunglasses.

Lily had planned to attend the glamorous event in Manchester on Saturday, but she canceled her trip at the last minute because she caught a cold.

Lily Allen has decided to prioritize resting her voice before her West End Girl tour kicks off in Glasgow on Monday, according to The Sun.

I recently shared with my followers that I wasn’t feeling my best, but I was really pushing myself to get in top shape for my first ever performance. It’s been all about recovery and preparation to make sure I could give it my all on stage!

Daily Mail have contacted Lily’s representatives for comment.

Even though Lily’s new album was successful, Olivia Dean won the awards for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Pop Act.

The singer behind “Not Fair” detailed the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour, the star of “Stranger Things,” in her new album.

I was really struck by how open and honest Lily Allen was about everything that went wrong in her marriage. She didn’t hold back at all, detailing the shock of finding out about this ‘Py Palace’ connected to David Harbour, and then revealing his affair with someone named Madeline, along with other allegations. It was incredibly raw and vulnerable to read.

Despite being nominated eight times previously, Lily skipped out on the evening all together.

Sources said she might have faced an awkward reception at the VIP area of the Co-op Live Arena, potentially from friends of Nicole Appleton, before the event began.

In her 2018 autobiography, Lily revealed she had a romantic encounter with Liam Gallagher after they met on a flight to Japan. They were both heading to the Fuji Rocks Festival to perform in 2009, and the encounter involved alcohol.

Just one year into his marriage with singer Nicole Appleton, 51, Liam reportedly had a romantic encounter with her in the First Class section of a flight.

Someone familiar with the entertainment industry told The Sun that Lily’s behavior is shockingly hypocritical, especially considering how she treated Nicole in the past.

She’s acting like she’s the ultimate victim, enjoying all the attention and profiting from her album about getting even.

Nicole had an affair with a married man and later wrote a book detailing the experience, which hasn’t been forgiven by many of her friends. These friends include prominent figures in the music industry who are attending tonight’s Brit Awards.

They see Lily as a hypocrite who doesn’t mind benefiting from others’ affairs, as long as she’s not the one being betrayed.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives.
