Andrea Bocelli steals the spotlight at the Sanremo Italian Song Festival as tuxedo-clad star arrives at the annual show on horseback

Andrea Bocelli made a grand entrance at the Sanremo Italian Song Festival on Sunday, arriving on horseback and captivating the audience.

The Italian tenor, 67, galloped into the stage riding the white horse with confidence.

The singer, a regular performer at the yearly Italian awards, was there to give an energetic show that the audience loved.

He sported his trademark tuxedo suit and bow tie for the occasion.

Last year, Richard Eden of the Daily Mail reported that his former agency, Quest Management (UK), filed a lawsuit against the opera singer in High Court.

Andrea, a hugely successful artist with over 90 million records sold and numerous awards – including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – was managed by Quest for a long time, according to the company’s legal records.

According to records, they reached an agreement with the opera star in 2018, which was renewed in March 2022 and again in March 2023. The agreement lasted until last April, when the singer’s wife, Veronica, reportedly canceled it via email on April 20th.

Quest claims Andrea’s termination of their agreement was improper and has caused them significant financial losses, which they expect to continue. Because of this, they are asking the court for a large, unspecified amount of money in damages, plus reimbursement for their legal fees.

The singer has often called Veronica, who is 25 years younger than him, his soulmate, explaining that she brings joy and balance to his life.

Even though Quest and its related company, Quest Artist Management, seemed to be having disagreements, the artist management company continued to feature the singer’s photo on its website, alongside pictures of Sir Paul McCartney and Andrea’s son, Matteo.

The tenor’s representative didn’t offer a statement, and Quest also chose not to share more information in its legal filing with the High Court.

Let’s hope matters can be resolved without an aria of anguish, even if it is Time To Say Goodbye.

As a huge fan, I was really disappointed to see my favorite Italian artist perform for Donald Trump in the Oval Office back in October. It especially stung knowing it happened right before a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, and a lot of other fans felt the same way.

This performance felt very different from 2017, when Andrea reportedly didn’t attend Trump’s first inauguration because he had received threats of violence.

According to advisor Margo Martin, Donald Trump was listening to a song when the 67-year-old entered the room.

The president played his song, ‘Time to Say Goodbye,’ as he walked in and said: ‘Listen to this.’

The famous opera singer unexpectedly started singing a duet with a recording of his own voice, while the president watched.

He chuckled about the incident, then resumed singing and posed for photos with Trump.

Many liberals strongly criticized Andrea Bocelli, similar to how they’ve criticized other celebrities, for performing with the president.

The famous tenor first gained widespread recognition in 1994 at the Sanremo Music Festival, winning the competition for new artists during its 44th year.
