Viewers loved Robbie Williams’ unexpected performance at the 2026 BRIT Awards, where he paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Many also credited Sharon Osbourne with being the creative force behind the touching moment.

Fifty-two-year-old Robbie delivered a fantastic performance alongside members of Ozzy Osbourne’s band, immediately following a moving speech by Sharon and Kelly Osbourne honoring the late musician, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, passed away last July at the age of 76. He had given a final concert in his hometown of Birmingham just two weeks before his death.

Immediately after Robbie’s performance, viewers flooded social media with praise, with many calling him phenomenal.

That performance was amazing! It felt like the most heartfelt tribute we’ve seen so far, and the accompanying photos were truly touching.

Robbie did a great job, and Sharon, I absolutely loved this! I really appreciate you, Sharon.

This is a wonderful tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, the ‘Prince of Darkness’. The music and photos are truly incredible.

Everyone loved Robbie’s performance, saying he did a fantastic job honoring Ozzy Osbourne. Many felt it was amazing and expressed how much they miss Ozzy himself.

Sharon and Kelly gave a touching speech celebrating Ozzy’s life and career as he received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dolly Parton introduced the duo with a video message filmed in Nashville, just before Robbie took the stage with members of Ozzy’s band.

Sharon fondly remembered her late husband, describing him as a surprisingly humble person despite having a big ego. Kelly stood by her side, offering support.

The former X Factor judge shared with the audience, ‘I’m so honored to receive this Lifetime Achievement Award, especially from my wonderful husband. I really wish he could be here to accept it with me.’

She continued by saying she knew her late husband would be watching, and that he always disliked long speeches. However, she felt compelled to share stories about all of Ozzy’s accomplishments, even if it meant talking for a while.

He grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Birmingham and achieved incredible success as a musician. His life included both amazing highs and difficult lows.

He consistently strived for improvement, always seeking to grow as a person and in his career.

She continued, explaining that they traveled the world for most of their lives, but Ozzy always remained deeply connected to England. He was proud of his working-class roots in Birmingham and never hesitated to share that with others.

Sharon explained she was accepting the award on behalf of Ozzy, his wonderful family, the musicians who supported him throughout his career, and the devoted fans who showed their respect at his memorial in Birmingham.

If Ozzy were here with us tonight, he’d be flashing that amazing smile, and I know he’d be incredibly proud to receive this honor from a country he cherished.

Okay, so he’s gone, which is just… devastating. But honestly? His work? It’s everything. It’s a masterpiece, and I truly believe it’s going to live on forever in the hearts of everyone here – in our country, the one that loved him so much and helped make him who he was. It’s just… unforgettable.

Taking the microphone an emotional Kelly said: ‘Thank you for loving my father as much as we do.’

She playfully declared her support for her father’s favorite football team, saying, ‘And I hope this doesn’t offend anyone in Manchester, but I’m rooting for Villa and Birmingham!’

After the Manchester crowd playfully booed, Sharon laughed and said, ‘I knew you’d react like that. I warned you it would happen.’

Robbie finished the show by performing with an all-star band – Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde – in a one-time collaboration.

Earlier that day, Sharon shared with the Daily Mail that becoming a grandparent gave her a renewed sense of purpose after the heartbreaking loss of Ozzy.

With Jack and his wife, Aree Gearhart, expecting their second child together (Jack’s fifth), Sharon shared her joy about becoming a grandmother again, saying it’s ‘the best feeling’ and ‘gives you a reason to keep going and smile’.

I noticed something really touching – both me and Kelly, who’s a mom to little Sidney, were wearing little nods to the amazing rocker who passed away, added to our black outfits. It felt like a beautiful way to remember him with her.

Sharon displayed a bat-shaped brooch on her jacket, explaining it was something Ozzy always wore. Kelly, meanwhile, wore a crucifix that had also belonged to her father.
