Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez’s husband, recently shared some fun details about what happened behind the scenes at their wedding in a new interview.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last Thursday, February 26th, the 37-year-old music producer shared that his 33-year-old wife was upset when she misplaced the wedding vows she’d written herself.
The couple planned to get married in September 2025, but a problem with their wedding vows caused a lot of stress leading up to the event.
Blanco explained that she was upset because she’d misplaced the handwritten vows Gomez had created, and it took four to five days to find them.
In a recent interview, Blanco addressed fan concerns about his feet and also shared a story about how he rescued the missing wedding vows.
Blanco explained he discovered the gifts just before the wedding, but he was careful not to ruin the surprise. ‘I didn’t peek,’ he insisted. ‘I shut my eyes and gave them to her. Honestly, I didn’t look!’
After recovering the vows, Blanco said he was flying high on Gomez’s gratitude.
Honestly, I was floored by how well it turned out – it really made him look fantastic. He said it felt like the perfect move, and then… well, then he discovered that. It’s just awful timing, considering he’s about to get married!
The couple went on to wed on a 70-acre private estate, just north of Santa Barbara, California.
Gomez looked stunning in a white, backless halter dress designed by Ralph Lauren. Blanco was equally sharp in a classic black tuxedo, also custom-made by Ralph Lauren.
I was so excited to see who turned out for the event, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Selena Gomez’s best friend, Taylor Swift, was there to support her, which was lovely. Plus, her co-stars from ‘Only Murders In The Building,’ Martin Short and Steve Martin, were also in attendance – it was a really fun group!

During a recent podcast episode, Blanco addressed the recent controversy he’s been involved in. He was appearing with guest Lil Dicky and was noted to be barefoot, with dirt visible on his feet.
Kimmel explained that he overlooked a key detail while people were watching the broadcast. It seems viewers became strangely captivated by the fact that Benny’s feet were quite dirty.

Honestly, it was a bit chaotic up there! Blanco was clearly flustered when people started laughing, and immediately pointed out that whatever went wrong wasn’t his fault – it was a problem with the venue itself, he insisted. He really wanted to make that clear!
He gestured to his podcast partner, Lil Dicky, and then interjected, ‘The floors are… you know, I have really good feet. Just a second!’
The star then removed one of his boots to expose his very clean foot for the crowd.
‘Someone zoom in on my foot,’ Blanco encouraged. ‘Look at that!’
Kimmel then asked the musician to show the sole of his foot, and it was also clean.
He jokingly pointed out someone’s clean foot, saying, “Look at that! Are you kidding me?” The audience responded with applause.
Oh my god, when Lil Dicky – David Burd, I mean, it’s always Lil Dicky to me – finally explained what happened, I nearly fainted! He said it was literally the first day of filming, so there was just a ton of people running around, coming and going. It was chaos, but my Lil Dicky was there! He said it was just a normal first-day thing, but honestly, even the chaos sounds amazing when he says it.
The performer took off one of his boots, showing off his spotless foot to the audience. “Someone zoom in on my foot!” he said with a laugh. “Check that out!”
Kimmel then asked the musician to show the sole of his foot, which was also spotless.
He playfully pointed out someone’s clean foot, exclaiming, “Are you kidding me?” as the audience started clapping.
Kimmel asked if Dave’s floors were dirty, and Lil Dicky confirmed they were on that particular day, explaining that floors naturally get dirty sometimes.
During the interview, the talk show host playfully suggested to Blanco that he start an OnlyFans account, and Blanco enthusiastically responded with a grateful, ‘Thank you!’
This week, Tuesday saw the release of the first episode of Blanco’s podcast, ‘Friends Keep Secrets,’ which features Lil Dicky and his wife, Kristin Batalucco.
Some viewers noticed and were bothered by the dirt on Blanca’s bare feet while she was relaxing on the sofa.
Many fans reacted negatively to the artist, calling him ‘disgusting,’ and some urged his wife, whom he married in 2025, to leave him.

During the pilot episode, Blanco unexpectedly tested the microphone by… well, farting into it, which surprised some viewers.

On Wednesday, a video posted to her Instagram Stories showed the couple getting cozy outside.
The Rare Beauty founder kissed Blanco before flashing a cheerful smile towards the camera.
She then kissed him once again on the cheek in another loving moment.
Gomez ended the message with a sweet sentiment, writing, ‘I’m falling more in love with you every day.’
Selena Gomez took a relaxing vacation while her boyfriend, Blanco, focused on launching his new project.
The celebrity was seen in San José del Cabo last weekend, enjoying a getaway with friends at the Las Ventanas al Paraíso resort.
