ITV’s new thriller stars Eve Myles (known from Broadchurch) and David Morrissey (Sherwood). The story revolves around a headmaster at a private school who becomes the main suspect when his wife, Sarah, goes missing. Things get complicated when he encounters the determined Detective Annie Cassidy, who might be able to see through him.
The new drama, from writer George Kay (known for shows like Lupin and Criminal: UK on Netflix), is being called a thrilling and addictive story. It’s more than just a mystery, though – it delves into many other interesting themes as well.

The Capture
Premieres on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, 8 March
The popular BBC thriller returns in March, with Holliday Grainger reprising her role as Rachel Carey. This season, she’s been promoted and is focused on restoring public confidence in surveillance technology.
BAFTA winner Ben Chanan wrote and created the series, which features a strong cast including Paapa Essiedu (known from Gangs of London), Indira Varma (Doctor Who), Ben Miles (The Crown), and Ginny Holder (Death in Paradise). Season three welcomes new faces like Killian Scott (Dublin Murders), Joe Dempsie (Get Millie Black), and Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch), alongside other talented actors.

Netflix’s new limited series explores a captivating story of attraction and fixation. Starring Rachel Weisz (known from Dead Ringers) and Leo Woodall (One Day, The White Lotus), the series is based on a popular novel by Julia May Jonas and focuses on the intense connection between a professor and a charismatic new coworker.
The show is full of passionate and illicit attractions, clever dialogue, and compelling characters who keep you guessing.

Scarpetta
Arrives to Prime Video on Tuesday, 11 March
I’m so excited! Nicole Kidman is playing Kay Scarpetta, the brilliant medical examiner, and the story is all about her trying to catch a really dangerous serial killer. It’s based on a popular book series, and I can’t wait to see her take on this role!
This new series is based on the popular books by Patricia Cornwell. Emmy-nominated writer Liz Sarnoff (known for Lost) adapted the story for television, and the show stars Jamie Lee Curtis (The Bear) and Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire).

Imperfect Women
Arrives to Apple TV on Wednesday, 18 March
Get ready for a story full of surprises! Imperfect Women, based on the acclaimed novel by Araminta Hall (called a “must-read” by Amazon), centers around three friends whose lives are turned upside down when one of them is found dead.
Featuring Elisabeth Moss, known for The Handmaid’s Tale, and Kerry Washington from Scandal (who also helped produce the show), alongside Kate Mara (Black Mirror) and Leslie Odom Jr (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery).

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen
Coming to Netflix on Thursday, 26 March
Camila Morrone, known for her roles in The Night Manager and Daisy Jones and The Six, stars in a new, thrilling horror series centered around a wedding that feels destined for disaster. The story follows Rachel (Morrone) as she grows increasingly uneasy about her upcoming marriage to Nicky, convinced something terrible will happen.
I’m really excited about this new project! It’s created by Haley Z. Boston, and the team behind Stranger Things – Hilary Leavitt, Matt Duffer, and Ross Duffer – are executive producing, so I have a feeling it’s going to be something special. Definitely keeping this one on my radar!

The Pitt
Season one will launch with HBO Max on Thursday, 26 March
The popular and highly-rated medical drama, already a hit with two seasons in the US and another one coming soon, will now be available to watch online in the UK.
Featuring Noah Wyle, known from ER, as Dr. Michael ‘Robby’ Robinavitch, The Pitt takes place in a hospital emergency room, with each episode covering a single, 15-hour shift.

Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole
Streaming on Netflix from Thursday, 26 March
Tobias Santelmann will play the role of detective Harry Hole, the popular character created by bestselling crime novelist Jo Nesbø, in this new series based on the books.
Detective Hole is a gifted investigator haunted by his personal struggles. The series will focus on his intense rivalry with fellow detective Tom Waaler.

Bait
Streaming on Prime Video from Wednesday, 25 March
The upcoming comedy series, created by and featuring Riz Ahmed, centers on Shah Latif, an actor facing a career crisis who gets a final opportunity to achieve his dream through a major audition.
Okay, so this new show is six episodes, and it basically follows four crazy days in this guy Latif’s life – things really start to spiral for him. Plus, it’s got Guz Khan – you probably know him from ‘Man Like Mobeen’ – and Weruche Opia, who was amazing in ‘I May Destroy You’, so I’m already hyped!

Young Sherlock
Arriving to Prime Video on Wednesday, 4 March
I’m really excited about this new Sherlock Holmes series! It’s not a retelling of the stories we all know, but more of a look at how he became the detective we love. It’s set way back in the 1870s, when he’s a student at Oxford, and Hero Fiennes Tiffin is playing the younger version of Holmes – I think he’ll be great!
Fans can expect a thrilling new film from director Guy Ritchie, known for his previous work with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.

Ellis, season 2
Premiering on Channel 5 on Tuesday, 10 March
The British police drama starring Sharon D Clarke (known for roles in Showtrial and Mr Loverman) is returning for a second season this month. The show centers around DCI Ellis, the character played by Clarke.
Working alongside her colleague, Detective Sergeant Chet Harper (played by Andrew Gower), she’ll be back to helping solve crimes in small-town police departments.
