Benny Blanco recently responded to concerns about his cleanliness after fans urged his wife, Selena Gomez, to leave him due to photos of his dirty feet.
The record producer, 37, explained the online buzz about seeing dirt on his bare feet in the first episode of his new podcast when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday.
During the interview, Blanco, along with Lil Dicky, was asked about what happened.
Kimmel explained he overlooked a key detail because viewers became fixated on a surprisingly popular observation: Benny’s dirty feet. He said people seemed really interested in it while watching the multimedia presentation.
A picture from the podcast showed Blanco relaxing on a couch, and you could see the dirt on the soles of his bare feet.
“Hold on, hold on!” Blanco said, as some in the crowd chuckled. “First of all, this isn’t my fault – it’s the venue’s responsibility!”
He gestured to his podcast partner, Lil Dicky, and said, ‘The floors are… you know, I have really good feet. Just a sec!’
The star then removed one of his boots to expose his very clean foot for the crowd.
‘Someone zoom in on my foot,’ Blanco encouraged. ‘Look at that!’
Kimmel then asked the musician to show the sole of his foot, and it was also clean.
He playfully pointed out someone’s clean foot, exclaiming with mock disbelief, and the audience responded with applause.
David Burd, also known as Lil Dicky, explained that it was the first day of filming, so there was a lot of activity with the crew arriving and leaving.
Jimmy Kimmel asked if Dave’s floors were dirty, and Lil Dicky confirmed they were on that particular day, explaining that floors naturally get dirty sometimes.
During the interview, the talk show host playfully suggested to Blanco that he start an OnlyFans account, and Blanco responded with enthusiastic agreement, saying ‘Thank you, thank you!’
Blanco recently released the first episode of his podcast, ‘Friends Keep Secrets,’ which he co-hosts with Lil Dicky and his wife, Kristin Batalucco, on Tuesday.
Some viewers noticed that Blanco was barefoot with dirty feet while relaxing on the sofa, which took their attention away from what was happening.
Some fans harshly criticized the musician, calling him ‘disgusting,’ while others urged his wife, Gomez – whom he married in 2025 – to leave him.

The pilot episode also featured Blanco unexpectedly testing the microphone by farting into it, which surprised some viewers.
Even though many people criticized their public displays of affection, Blanco didn’t seem bothered as he continued to show Gomez lots of love in a cute video she shared online.
The couple was seen cuddling outside in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
The Rare Beauty founder kissed Blanco before flashing a cheerful smile towards the camera.
She then kissed him once again on the cheek in another loving moment.

She also took a dip in the cool water while holding a conversation with some of her close pals.
