Lucian Msamati will lead the cast of Found, a new British thriller. He’ll be joined by Merv Lukeba, known for Skins, Ronkẹ Adékọluẹ́jọ́, who appeared in Alex Ryder, and Paul Kaye, famous for his role in Game of Thrones.
I’m really excited about this new film! It’s set in the south of England and stars Lukeba as Xavier Prince, a guy whose life gets completely messed up when he’s wrongly accused of murder – all after he tries to do something nice, apparently. I read about it on Deadline and it sounds gripping!
Xavier is in trouble. The evidence against him is weak, and he’s hiding a recent setback because he worries about losing custody of his daughter. He turns to Sadie, his former sweetheart who is now a law student, for help proving his innocence before it’s too late and the legal system convicts him.

Kalungi Ssebandeke is making his first feature film as director, and he also wrote the script. He’ll be producing the movie with Henry Hereford, and the cast includes Doreene Blackstock, Joseph Arkley, and Jumayn Hunter.
According to Ssebandeke, the film Found explores how everyday people are affected by hidden biases, and the damaging consequences these biases have on individuals and society.

Honestly, this movie really makes you think – it challenges you to check yourself and your own biases. The filmmakers are even working with people in the criminal justice system to make sure everything feels real and raw, and that the story is as authentic as possible. They want it to feel genuine, not just be a movie.
Recently, Msamati appeared in the popular Netflix thriller Run Away, which is based on Harlan Coben’s 2019 novel. He played a former soldier who assisted James Nesbitt’s character in the search for his daughter.

He’s also joining the upcoming sixth season of the Apple TV+ spy series Slow Horses. This season will be based on the sixth and seventh books in Mick Herron’s ‘Slough House’ series.
Lucian Msamati is well-known for playing the pirate Salladhor Saan in the HBO series Game of Thrones. He’s also recently appeared in the films Conclave and See How They Run.
Found has no release date.
