Brooklyn Beckham’s intriguing new life with the Peltzes including his Trump-loving father-in-law Nelson who was once dubbed a ‘bully billionaire’ – as aspiring chef enjoys lavish lifestyle with his wife and her six brothers

He hails from one of the most famous families in the UK, the Beckhams.

Brooklyn’s life took another turn when he married Nicola Peltz, connecting him to a very wealthy and influential family with a net worth of $1.7 billion.

On Monday, Brooklyn Beckham publicly criticized his parents, David and Victoria, in a surprising Instagram post, claiming they were overly controlling.

Brooklyn Beckham, 26, the oldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, released a six-page statement alleging that his parents have been openly critical of his wife, Nicola. He claims that Victoria and David made hurtful remarks the night before the wedding, suggesting Nicola wasn’t a true part of the family because she wasn’t related by blood.

Everyone’s been talking about the news: Victoria Beckham, formerly of the Spice Girls, has scored her first ever number one hit! A big push on social media helped propel her to the top of the charts.

Victoria Beckham’s 2001 song, “Not Such An Innocent Girl,” known for its suggestive dance performance by Posh Spice, has unexpectedly reached the top spot on the iTunes charts in both the UK and Ireland.

A social media push is behind the recent chart success, fueled by a campaign aiming to get Victoria Beckham a solo number one hit, as fans believe it’s unfair she’s the only Spice Girl without one.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the recent buzz, and it’s clear where the public stands! Our recent poll showed a huge 65% of Daily Mail readers are Team Beckham when it comes to the family dynamics – that’s out of over 26,000 votes! It really shows where people’s loyalties lie in this situation.

Oh my gosh, I just feel SO bad for Victoria! Everyone’s saying she’s absolutely heartbroken over this whole drama with Brooklyn and Nicola. Apparently, she’s really taking the worst of it, being right in the middle of this awful family fight. It’s just devastating to hear, honestly. I can’t imagine how she must be feeling right now!

Although Brooklyn playfully admitted he used to be very close to his mother, his long statement mostly targeted Victoria Beckham, and his harsh words reportedly devastated her.

Brooklyn has quickly become part of the Peltz family, and he’s moved from London to the US to be closer to them.

Since getting married at the Peltz family’s Florida estate in 2022, Brooklyn Beckham has frequently shared his happiness with his new family online, participated in family vacations, and even asked his billionaire father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, for career guidance. This came after the wedding planners filed a lawsuit alleging that Nelson Peltz acted as a ‘bully’ during and after the wedding.

Nicola’s father became a billionaire after a career that began with driving a delivery truck. He eventually built one of the world’s largest food distribution companies.

Let me tell you, this guy is seriously successful – we’re talking a net worth of $1.6 billion, which actually puts him ahead of David and Victoria Beckham! And it’s not just him – his mom, Claudia, used to be a model, so good looks and a knack for style definitely run in the family.

Nelson has many famous friends, and used to be friends with President Donald Trump. He’s previously been public about his agreement with Trump’s political views.

Even though he later said he regretted voting for Trump in 2020, he announced in 2024 that he would vote for him again. He explained that the current situation with migrants was the reason for his decision.

Born and raised Jewish in Brooklyn, Nelson left the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1962 hoping to become a ski instructor. However, he ended up working as a delivery driver for his grandfather’s food company, A. Peltz & Sons.

Seriously, after everything, he didn’t just do something, he completely transformed his family’s little frozen food business! It was this tiny operation in Brooklyn, barely getting by, and he built it up, and up, and UP until it became one of the biggest frozen food distributors in the whole Northeast! I mean, it’s incredible, the scale of it now! He’s a genius, honestly.

Over time, he steadily climbed the company ladder, and ultimately, he and his brother, Robert Peltz—who is Nicola’s uncle—became the leaders of the business.

The brothers diligently grew their business, rebranding it as Flagstaff Corp. By 1973, it had achieved over $150 million in sales.

The company grew into a global packaging leader, and when it was eventually sold, Nelson made $840 million.

Nelson and his partner, Peter May, started an investment company called Trian Fund Management, L.P. They invested in well-known brands such as Heinz, Cadbury, Kraft Foods, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, and Family Dollar.

He is now also the non-executive chairman of Wendy’s, Sysco, and The Madison Square Garden Company.

And Brooklyn has made sure to appeal to Nelson’s expertise when furthering his own career.

At just 26 years old, Brooklyn has already explored several careers – from football and photography to modeling and now cooking. He’s also building his own hot sauce company, Cloud 23.

Nicola has shared that he seeks career guidance from his wife’s father, Nelson, rather than his own father, David.

She told Tatler that she’s thrilled with how Brooklyn’s career and business ventures are progressing. It’s heartwarming to see him seek advice from her father, and she loves witnessing him learn from that guidance.

Nelson has been married three time, and is currently still married to Nicola’s mum, Claudia.

Married in 1985, they’ve raised eight children: Matthew, 41, who works in business; Will, 39, an actor and model; Brad, 36, a former ice hockey player; Darren, 31, also known as Diesel, a tech entrepreneur; twins Zachary and Gregory, 22; Brittany, 35, a designer of children’s clothing; and Nicola.

He also has two children from his past relationships.

In a 2022 interview with Tatler, the hopeful actress shared that having six brothers helped her become incredibly self-assured.

Having brothers helped me become very self-assured. I don’t feel the need to seek validation from men because my brothers instilled a strong sense of self-worth in me.

The next year, she told Cosmopolitan UK about her brothers, explaining that growing up with six of them really boosted her confidence, particularly in relationships. They constantly told her she was amazing.

‘I’ve only had three boyfriends because I’ve always been standoffish until I really like someone.

My brothers constantly encouraged me, telling me I deserved more, and that’s given me a lot of confidence.

She’s really had to rely on her self-assurance while building her acting career. She’s confessed to always shielding herself from the possibility of failure, and describes herself as becoming numb to rejection – something she’s experienced countless times.

The billionaire investor and his wife have homes in both Palm Beach, Florida, and Bedford, New York, and appear to divide their time between the two locations.

This New York mansion is incredibly luxurious, featuring its own ice hockey rink, a complete staff including housekeepers, security, and groundskeepers, and even a collection of white peacocks. Meanwhile, the Florida estate—priced at $85.6 million and spanning 44,000 square feet—offers 27 bedrooms, a large pool, tennis courts, and a separate guest house, all set on 13 acres of land.

Brooklyn and Nicola got married at their family’s large beach house in Florida, hosting around 500 guests for the celebration.

However, shortly after the wedding, a legal issue arose. Nicola’s father sued the couple’s wedding planners, Nicole Eichenwald Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, who had been hired just six weeks before the event but were dismissed nine days later.

He stated that he didn’t receive his $159,000 (£132,000) deposit. In his legal filing, he claimed that during nine days of negotiations, the other party didn’t secure any new wedding vendors, didn’t finalize contracts with previously chosen vendors, and didn’t show up to meetings already scheduled with Peltz and his family.

Because the wedding featured a famous couple and a guest list full of important people, the wedding planner needed significant experience and a large team to handle the event’s complexity and ensure it lived up to expectations.

Over five hundred people attended the event, including many famous celebrities, athletes, and important figures who came from all over the world.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Nicole and Arianna totally stood up to that awful Nelson! They’re calling him out as a ‘bully billionaire,’ which is SO accurate, and they actually sued him! They filed a counterclaim in court, saying he broke their agreement and deliberately messed with a really important business deal. Seriously, they’re amazing for fighting back!

Their lawyer said at the time that their clients are highly respected in the event-planning world, known for their excellent work with demanding customers around the globe. They run their business honestly and keep client information private.

The lawsuit filed by Nelson Peltz is without merit. We intend to prove the complaint is misleading through evidence obtained during the legal process, including emails and text messages. This evidence will also support our own counterclaims.

The lawsuits were settled in September 2023 after both sides reached an agreement following several months of negotiation.

In a statement to PEOPLE, representatives said both sides agree the disagreement between Nelson Peltz and Plan Design should be settled according to the original agreement.

Oh my gosh, you guys, this is amazing! So, as part of everything getting sorted out, PDE is making a donation – in Nicola and Brooklyn’s names! Can you believe it? It’s going to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund, which is just… perfect. They’re using their platform for good, and it’s all connected to Nicola and Brooklyn. I’m seriously so happy right now!

‘PDE wishes Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham happiness and a fruitful life together.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen how success opens doors, and Nelson and Claudia are a perfect example. Beyond their business achievements, they now enjoy the freedom of owning two private jets. This has naturally led to some incredible connections – they’ve become friends with people like golf legend Greg Norman and even former President Donald Trump. It’s amazing to see how their world has expanded!

I’ve followed this guy for years, and he’s always been a huge Trump supporter. They’ve actually been neighbors in Florida for decades! He really went all-in, though – he even hosted a seriously expensive fundraiser for Trump, costing $590,000 per couple! It showed just how dedicated he was.

Nelson previously stated that he believes the current policies are the right path for the United States. He pointed out that over the past several decades, the country has lost a significant number of manufacturing jobs – tens of millions, by his estimate.

I’ve seen firsthand how many jobs were sent overseas – we were incredibly generous with exporting them, sending work to both Europe and Asia. But honestly, I believe it’s time we focused on bringing those opportunities back home now.

Following the January 2021 events at the U.S. Capitol, he stated in an interview with CNBC that he regretted his vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

However, later in 2024, he changed his mind and stated he would probably vote for Trump in the November election, explaining that the continuing issues with immigration were the reason.

He expressed concerns to the Financial Times about increasing immigration to the US during President Biden’s term, describing the situation as damaging.

He also hit out at President Biden saying that his current ‘mental condition is really scary’.

He said: ‘I don’t know what he knows and I don’t know what he doesn’t know.

He expressed concern about not knowing who was speaking on behalf of someone else, and then stated he anticipated it would be Donald Trump, which he found unwelcome.

Nelson stated his support for Trump, citing concerns about the increase in immigration at the southern border. He emphasized the need to address the issue, saying, ‘We can’t continue allowing unrestricted entry into the country. Immigration is a problem that affects everyone, not just Republicans or Democrats.’

The US shouldn’t stop immigration altogether, but we need to have better control over who is entering the country.

You know, I’ve been watching Brooklyn Beckham’s journey, and it’s really sweet to see how close he’s become with his wife Nicola’s family, the Peltzes. After some family difficulties of his own, he’s fully embraced them – he doesn’t hesitate to show his love publicly and has been included in all their family moments, like their amazing trip to St. Tropez last summer. It’s lovely to see him find that support and connection.

The home cook spent a week on the luxurious superyacht, Project X, which costs £1.2 million to rent each week and is valued at £85 million.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Nicola’s parents – seriously, they’re billionaires! – rented this absolutely massive, 260-foot yacht for their vacation! And get this, they invited Nicola and her husband, plus the whole Peltz family! It’s just…everything is perfect and I’m living for it!

This incredibly spacious boat is much larger than David and Victoria Beckham’s £16 million yacht, Seven. It features a lavish master suite, a VIP cabin, five double bedrooms, and two twin rooms, and requires a crew of 28 to operate.

In July, Brooklyn posted a photo with Nicola, Nelson, and his brothers, adding a heart emoji to the caption.

He publicly wished his father-in-law a happy birthday in June, but notably ignored his own father’s 50th birthday the previous month.

I was so excited to see photos of them at Will’s 39th birthday party last June! They looked like they were having a great time at The Rox in West Hollywood.

He also remembered to post a tribute on the anniversary of Nicola’s grandmother’s death in May.

He shared a heartfelt message marking a year since losing his grandmother, affectionately calling her ‘naunni.’ He remembered her infectious happiness and how she always made him laugh, expressing how much he misses her and will always love her. He also shared his sadness that his future children won’t have the chance to know her, describing her as a unique and irreplaceable person who is missed every day.
