Release date

Pokémon has announced that the Winds and Waves game will be released in 2027, but they haven’t given a specific date yet. This means it could come out any time during the year, from January to December. Hopefully, it will be released earlier in the year so fans don’t have to wait nearly two years.

A new massive world to explore

The newest Pokémon games are set in a region inspired by tropical islands, much like the Alola region. The recent trailer showed off the beautiful environments, like jungles and the open ocean, and gave us a first glimpse of some of the Pokémon that will appear in the games.

We got a first look at the three new starter Pokémon – Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua – and also spotted some familiar faces like Wailmer and Tropius, both from the third generation of Pokémon.

Pokémon Winds and Waves is just beyond the horizon. Are you excited?
