John Stamos dances with his Full House ‘niece’ Jodie Sweetin to Taylor Swift in matching outfits

John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin, who played Uncle Jesse and Stephanie on Full House, got together to create a humorous video. It playfully imagines what the characters would share on social media if the show were on today.

The two actors, a popular star from the 1980s who is now 62, and a former child star who is 44, often performed together on the ABC sitcom that aired from 1987 to 1995, and later on its Netflix revival, Fuller House, which ran from 2016 to 2020.

In a charming video, John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin dance together to Taylor Swift’s popular 2025 song, “Opalite,” while wearing matching fluffy light-blue tracksuits.

Kim Fields, known for her role in ‘Dateless to Dangerous,’ finished sixth on season 22 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2016. John Stamos, however, has consistently declined to participate in the show, saying he doesn’t think he’s a strong enough dancer.

John Stamos, with over 10 million followers on social media, simply wrote ‘I’d follow them’ in the caption of his latest Instagram post.

The pair finished their dance with the Emmy-nominated producer lifting Sweetin up and holding a striking final pose.

The comedian, originally from Los Angeles, commented on John Stamos’s post, writing, ‘I love you, Uncle J, and I hope you keep wearing that sweatsuit!’

‘I’m sure @caitlinskybound agrees.’

Stamos’s second wife Caitlin McHugh did agree, replying: ‘Cuties!’

The Palm Royale actor, who has been sober since 2015, is 23 years older than his wife, who is of Filipino descent. They share a seven-year-old son named Billy and were married for eight years.

As a mom myself, I can relate to how quickly life changes! Between my second and third marriages, I was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Zoie, who’s now 17, and Beatrix, 15. They’ve brought so much joy to my life, and watching them grow has been the best adventure.

In 2022, a licensed drug and alcohol counselor, who achieved sobriety in 2013, married Mescal Wasilewski, also a therapist specializing in drug and alcohol treatment. This was her fourth marriage.

The post also drew positive reactions from former co-stars like Scott Weinger, Marla Sokoloff, and Adam Hagenbuch. Jon M. Chu, the director of Wicked: For Good, along with Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan and Elisa Donovan from Clueless, also shared happy comments.

Jodie Sweetin will be performing at The Ultimate Improv Show this Friday at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, with fellow comedians Dan Black and Nicole Byer.

John Stamos both stars in and helped create the new comedy horror-thriller Drag, which will debut on March 13th at the State Theatre in Austin, Texas, as part of the SXSW Festival.

The new movie, produced by Danny DeVito and featuring his daughter Lucy DeVito, follows a pair of sisters who are robbers. Lizzy Caplan and Christine Ko also star in the film.

The famous singer, known as an honorary Beach Boy, will also play the character Chase Brylan in the upcoming second season of the Netflix drama, The Hunting Wives, which will be available later this year.
