Okay, so I’ve been dying to talk about this! Honestly, watching Bec from Married At First Sight finally speak out about that dinner party was everything. It was SO intense when she tried to confront Gia – I mean, it was all about getting a little payback, and I totally get it! I’ve been following their drama so closely, and seeing Bec finally address everything felt huge. It was a messy situation, but I’m on Team Bec all the way!
The 35-year-old reality star told Daily Mail she deeply regretted her actions that night, feeling they were taking away from the purpose of the show, Married at First Sight.
Bec admitted her biggest disappointment with the show is that it focused on conflict rather than healthy love and relationships, and she acknowledges she contributed to that negativity.
Bec explained she needed to do a lot to repair her relationships with those she’d hurt.
I want to apologize to both my fellow cast members and to everyone watching the show. We created unnecessary drama that distracted from the genuine connections being made.
‘You watch MAFS to see these relationships unfold, we are taking it away from them. I feel guilty.’
Bec then revealed that she was taking steps to apologise to those she had hurt.
‘I have apologised to Alissa and told her I said some pretty awful things about her… I have done every thing I possibly can to take accountability,’ she said.
She apologized for sending mean text messages about Alissa to a fellow cast member, explaining that those messages didn’t represent her true character.
‘Those messages came from a place of ego and hurt, they were not acceptable,’ Bec explained.
‘It’s disgraceful behaviour… for that, I am sincerely sorry.’
Bec also revealed the one couple that she particularly admired and aspired to be like.
Oh my gosh, Stella and Filip are just… amazing! Seriously, they’re so genuine and stayed completely true to who they are, and didn’t let all the drama and negativity get to them. It’s so inspiring to see!
Wednesday night’s dinner party was filled with drama as the brides argued intensely after Gia revealed that Bec’s husband, Danny, had apparently told her she was attractive.
Bec made it clear she was still very upset about the comment that had caused problems in her relationship, showing her anger right from the start of the evening.
Bec said, with a veiled threat, ‘I completely trust Danny.’ As she went into the dinner party, she added, ‘I won’t let anyone ruin my husband’s reputation – Gia will get what’s coming to her.’
However, Bec’s efforts to fix things with the people involved in the experiment seemed to backfire, and they started to distance themselves from her.
By the night’s end, even people who used to support Bec – including her husband, Danny Hewitt – had begun to avoid her after her performance.
As a longtime viewer, I immediately noticed Bec. She seemed really on edge and visibly upset by everything Gia and Danny were saying, and honestly, the experts zeroed in on her reaction right away – it was pretty obvious she was struggling with the accusation.
The dinner party took a dramatic turn when Bec confronted Gia, claiming she was interfering with Jules and Grayson’s relationship.
She started by saying she had something to tell Gia. She explained that while Gia thought they were becoming friends, she wasn’t happy with how things were going.
She told the group that Jules and Grayson were struggling, and then shared that Gia had told her Jules wished she’d been paired with a female partner.
After Gia, Jules, and Grayson denied the claim, Bec unleashed on her old pal.
She told Gia that she had interfered with everyone’s relationships by coming in and getting involved.
Bec explained, ‘I understand now – you’re trying to show everyone that we’re a powerful couple.’
You’re causing trouble in other people’s relationships, but ultimately, you’re the one who looks silly.
Upset by the accusation, Gia said it was Bec who was behind last week’s attack on Alissa.
Brandishing her phone at the dinner table, Gia turned on Bec.
She claimed to have screenshots showing Bec making negative comments about everyone involved in the experiment, and specifically accused Bec of constantly badmouthing Alissa.
Alissa, clearly upset, revealed in her interview that people were still talking about her behind her back, which she described as typical ‘mean girl’ tactics.
