Andrew Lincoln, best known for his role as Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead, has experience with survival scenarios. He’s now turning his attention to real-world survival stories as the narrator of a new ITV natural history series, which has been described as powerful, moving, and uplifting.

Each episode highlights the struggles and resilience of animals like chimpanzees in Senegal, sea otters in California, flamingos in the Caribbean, and polar bears in the Arctic.
This series, created by the award-winning production company Plimsoll Productions (which is now part of ITV Studios), took three years to develop and will be released later this year.
