The boxing movie Journeyman is a standout drama with real impact, and a reminder of Paddy Considine’s talent, according to Empire. The Mirror simply called it a ‘knockout’.

Paddy Considine is one of the few British actors consistently delivering performances that impress and showcase his range, according to CineVue.

Jodie Whittaker is famous for playing the Doctor in Doctor Who. Since leaving the show in 2022, she’s continued to work on several projects, including the Netflix series Toxic Town and the ITV drama Frauds.

The actor recently talked about how challenging it was to take on such a famous science fiction part, particularly being the first woman to play the Doctor.
According to an interview with The Times, Jodie Whittaker felt immense pressure taking on the role of the Doctor. She felt it was crucial she succeeded, and the thought of letting others down weighed heavily on her.
She remembered experiencing online harassment based on her gender and explained that while negativity often dominates, positive feedback is more subtle. She also pointed out that the show she was on was unique and didn’t really have anything similar to it.

Journeyman is streaming now on Channel 4.
