Tess Daly looked fantastic in a fashionable workout outfit on Wednesday, enjoying her time off after finishing her run on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 56-year-old presenter looked fantastic in a dark grey scoop neck top and leggings from her own brand, Naia Beach, as she shared a mirror selfie.
Tess posted a photo on Instagram showing off her loose blonde hair and a white sweater tied around her waist.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was so excited to see what Tess Daly’s been up to! It feels like ages since she left Strictly – I miss her and Claudia together so much! – but she posted the cutest picture of herself just chilling in her garden, reading magazines in the sun. Honestly, it’s the little things, you know? It just seems so… peaceful and perfect. I’m living for her relaxed vibes!
She penned: ‘Grateful for the small things, the big things and everything in between’.
Tess recently returned from a quick trip to New York with her husband, Vernon Kay. They visited their daughter, Phoebe, who recently moved to the United States.
The TV presenter looked stylish and relaxed while visiting New York City, and she posted several photos on Instagram.
She and her daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16, enjoyed a family sightseeing trip and took lots of pictures together.
Tess seemed truly happy as she walked around town with Vernon, 51, and enjoyed visiting museums with Amber.
She shared a post saying she loves New York City. She made the most of a quick half-term trip and rediscovered her love for the city.
Phoebe revealed she had moved to New York City in January 2026.
She took to Instagram to share a snap of herself at a rooftop bar in the Big Apple.
Phoebe seems to be staying there temporarily, as her photo caption said, ‘Home for a while…’
The family last took a trip together in January, going on a ski vacation before Phoebe moved away.
I was so thrilled to see Tess and Vernon recently! They went back to Television Centre in London – where their story really began – and shared the sweetest selfie. It felt like a full-circle moment, and I absolutely loved seeing it.
Tess, who first met her husband in 2001 while working at the BBC, looked happy and relaxed as she snuggled up to him outside the famous building. He was wearing a black baseball cap to cover his recently cut, grey hair.
Tess looked beautiful and happy as she smiled for the camera while wearing a stylish grey jacket.
Meanwhile, Vernon sported a matching grey bomber jacket as he beamed alongside his wife.
Tess shared a cute photo on Instagram, writing, ‘Being back at Television Centre, where it all started, always brings back wonderful memories.’
Tess and Vernon first connected while building their careers as presenters on popular national TV shows.
Vernon was working as a presenter on Channel 4’s T4, while Tess hosted the Saturday morning show SMTV on ITV.
They started dating soon after meeting on the show T4 and quickly became a famous couple on television.
Tess and Vernon both enjoyed successful careers, and even co-hosted the BBC singing show Just The Two Of Us from 2006 to 2007.
Oh my gosh, when Tess talked about how it started with him, it was just so cute! She said it was instant – they just clicked and had an amazing time together right away. Like, seriously, an instant blast! I knew they were meant to be from the start!
‘I couldn’t imagine having more fun with anyone else. It was pretty explosive, I tell you.’
She described how long-term relationships evolve, explaining that maintaining passion requires continuous effort – you have to consistently nurture the connection to keep it alive.
Tess mentioned her husband has become more mature lately, saying, ‘He’s still fundamentally the same person, but he’s definitely grown up a bit. Men often stay boys at heart, don’t they? I wonder if they’ll ever truly understand things the way we do – I doubt it!’
They got married in 2003 at St. Mary’s Church in Vernon’s hometown of Horwich, two years after they first met.
According to Hello!, the couple hosted their reception at the nearby Rivington Hall Barn.
Vernon was thrilled with his simple wedding, explaining that he and his partner chose to avoid a large, celebrity-filled event.
The wedding featured a few well-chosen celebrity guests, including Big Brother’s Brian Dowling and TV presenter June Sarpong.
DJ Brandon Block was also on hand to provide entertainment at the reception party.
Tess and Vernon have two children together, Phoebe Elizabeth, 21 and Amber Isabella Kay, 16.
Life changed beautifully for my family when our first daughter, Phoebe, arrived in 2004. And then, five years later, we were blessed again with our sweet Amber! It’s been a joy watching them both grow up.
In June, TV host Tess shared that she and Vernon enjoy a wonderful relationship with each other.
She explained that the best approach is to offer advice and support, but in a way that allows people to feel like they’re making their own choices and coming to their own conclusions.
As kids grow older, their needs change. They require more guidance and support with life’s challenges, and it feels like the emotional support never really stops. It’s a lifelong role, and it’s hard to know when they’ll truly become fully independent.
