Last October, Chelsea O’Donnell, the daughter of Rosie O’Donnell, had her probation revoked after being accused of inappropriately touching a passenger in her car.
At the time of the incident, 28-year-old Chelsea was on probation due to previous arrests involving drug-related charges and allegations of child neglect.
According to a report, the passenger told officials he did not consent to being touched by Chelsea, as revealed in court documents reviewed by TMZ on Tuesday.
According to the report, the passenger stated he was sitting in the back seat while Chelsea drove. He also said he pushed her hand away when she touched his thigh.
According to the report, Ms. O’Donnell touched the man’s genitals after he pushed her hand away.
The Daily Mail has contacted Rosie’s spokesperson and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for more information about this story.
The report states that Chelsea became distraught after a passenger didn’t reciprocate her romantic feelings, and this led her to drive recklessly and lose focus on the road.
Several issues in the state’s recent report could cause problems for Chelsea, who was sentenced to six years of probation in March 2025.
In February 2025, Chelsea pleaded guilty to possessing methamphetamine, skipping bail, and resisting a police officer, resulting in an initial probation sentence.
As part of my commitment to supporting Chelsea through her probation, I understand she’s required to get approval from her probation officer before starting any new romantic relationship, whether it’s just dating or something more serious. It’s all about keeping her accountable and ensuring a smooth transition, and I fully respect that condition.
According to officials, Chelsea violated the rule by having multiple sexual relationships from July to September 2025.
Chelsea denied having sexually assaulted the passenger, saying he had consented to her touching.
Chelsea informed authorities she had been intimate with four other people and was also seeing someone she met on a dating app, information she hadn’t shared before.
Department of Corrections officials stated that Chelsea violated the conditions of her suspended sentence, resulting in her return to custody last year.
In addition to those requirements, Chelsea needed to continue with the Marinette Drug Court program, stay drug-free, and earn her high school diploma or GED, as stated in court documents.
US Weekly reported that Chelsea violated her probation because of accusations of sexual assault, according to officials with the drug court.
Authorities told the outlet that Chelsea had not met the terms of her drug treatment program.
According to court documents, the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team reviewed the details of this case and determined there was enough evidence to remove the individual from the program.
Rosie is a mother of five adopted children: Parker, 29, Chelsea, 28, Blake, 26, Vivienne, 23, and Clay, 13.
Rosie adopted Chelsea in 1997 and shared her disappointment on Instagram when Chelsea’s probation was canceled.
She wrote in a post on October 29th about her daughter, Chelsea Belle, saying, ‘Before addiction changed her life, I loved her, and I still do. She’s facing a difficult road ahead, and I would appreciate any prayers.’
Rosie added the hashtags, ‘#addiction awareness,’ ‘#love’ and ‘#family.’
