Lisa Rinna believes she may have been drugged at the premiere party for season four of The Traitors. The event took place at The Abbey in West Hollywood on January 8th.
Oh my god, you will NOT believe this! Rinna, my queen, was at this event with Colton Underwood, and apparently, someone told TMZ that Colton got worried because Rinna seemed totally wasted! And get this – they said it wasn’t even like she’d had a ton to drink! I mean, she can handle her stuff, right? It’s just… she’s Rinna! I’m so worried about her, but also, she’s amazing, and I need to know everything!
Colton stayed with Rinna throughout the night and alerted her team after she posed for a group picture with the rest of the cast. They then escorted her from the party.
It’s unclear whether the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star needed to go to the hospital, or if the police responded to the situation.
Pictures from the party show the actress with her husband, Harry Hamlin, age 74, her co-star Maura Higgins, and Carrie Underwood at the same table.
The Daily Mail has contacted Rinna, Underwood, and NBCUniversal’s teams for a statement.
Underwood’s husband, Jordan C. Brown, was also present at the event.
Rinna and Underwood didn’t get along while filming The Traitors, and sources say Rinna challenged him when they recently came together to film the show’s reunion special.
Recently, while promoting her memoir at a book signing, Rinna suggested she may have made a comment that bothered Underwood at their recent reunion, leading him to stop following her on social media.
On February 21st, while at a Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles, Rinna was asked by a fan which cast members from season four she still keeps in touch with.
Okay, so like, everyone seems to be on my side, which is AMAZING. But honestly? I’m a little freaked out because Colton unfollowed me, and it feels like a HUGE deal. I think he might be upset with me, and it’s totally stressing me out!
‘He unfollowed me like a boyfriend, girlfriend thing. I was like, “Wait what?” Don’t exes unfollow each other? Anyway, guess I might have said something at the reunion that got him mad,’ she added.
Rinna explained that everything was simply part of the game, and she maintained she was always acting strategically.
She clarified that she wasn’t referencing the situation with Underwood’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, who obtained a temporary restraining order against him in 2020.
Randolph claimed Underwood secretly put a tracking device on her car and was bothering her. She later withdrew her request for a protective order, and the two resolved the issue privately.
I remember when news broke, Underwood actually put out a statement to People magazine back in 2020 saying he and Randolph had managed to come to a private understanding. It was a relief to hear they’d worked things out between themselves, even if it wasn’t public.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! He just told everyone that Cassie actually asked the court to drop the restraining order! Can you even?! Apparently, they worked everything out privately, so she’s not worried anymore. It’s amazing! They talked it through and everything is okay! I’m so relieved and happy for them, honestly. It just proves what I always knew – they’re meant to be!
I think Cassie was right to request the restraining orders and had good intentions in doing so. I also ask that everyone respect the privacy of those involved.
‘I didn’t even know about that, until I did,’ Rinna said during her book signing.
‘I kept it to game play so don’t think I ever said anything about that stalker past.’
Last month, Rinna publicly called Underwood a ‘stalker’ on social media after finding out he had previously been issued a temporary restraining order.
Okay, so here’s what happened – I saw this whole thing unfold online. Basically, a fan was playfully teasing Carrie Underwood about an accusation made on her show, and the star herself actually jumped in to respond! It was a lighthearted moment, but definitely interesting to see her directly addressing a fan comment about that ‘traitor’ storyline.
A fan posted a photo of Lisa Rinna delivering her famous line from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – ‘Were people doing coke in your bathroom?’ – with the caption, ‘This is who Colton thinks he’s up against? Good luck to him!’
Rinna wrote back, ‘Let’s talk about you being a stalker…’ as if she were talking to Underwood.
She later said she felt ‘horrible’ for making the comment.
Rinna shared a video on January 24th explaining that a comment she made online, written as if she were her ‘Housewife’ persona, was getting a lot of attention and spreading quickly.
This is creating issues for Colton and me, which I don’t want because we have a good relationship. He was a strong rival to me during the show and continues to be.
I’m happy to play the role people expect of me, and that’s what I’ve been doing. But I want to be clear, I’m doing really well with Colton. We’ve been texting and talking, and things are going great between us.
The Traitors season four finale will air on Peacock Thursday, February 26.
