A new update for Marvel Snap is coming in March 2026, and we now know what cards and characters it will include. This time, the update features a medieval post-apocalyptic setting, introducing powerful, historically-inspired mutant Horsemen who will be a force to be reckoned with.
As you might expect from the hints about a post-apocalyptic setting and the ‘Horsemen’, the next Spotlight Cache will feature Apocalypse, also known as En Sabah Nur.
We’re expecting over 10 new cards to be added to the game, based on information from leaks and data mining. However, it’s important to remember that not all of these cards are confirmed to be released.
Not everyone will unlock all the rewards. Also, the costs and power levels of the cards coming in the Marvel Snap March Spotlight Cache are subject to change before the game is updated.
Marvel Snap March 2026 Version Update: Details about the Upcoming Cards
Let’s talk about the new cards coming to the game through the shop and Season Pass, and what they’ll do. We’re also introducing a new feature called Objectives. Objectives are completed at the end of your turn if the requirements on the card are met while it’s in play.
Storm: Horseman of Famine
Okay, so I just got the Storm: Horseman of Famine card, and it’s pretty cool! It costs 3 energy to play and has a base power of 2, which is decent. But the best part is its on-reveal ability – it gives all my other cards, both on the board and in my hand, a +2 power boost! It can only do that twice per match, though. To really get the most out of it, I need to make sure I finish two turns in a row with some energy left over – that seems like the goal with this one.
Wolverine: Horseman of War
You’ll need Wolverine to complete your mutant team! This new version aims to reach 6 or more power. Once activated, it boosts the power of one of your cards at each location by 3. It costs 4 to play and has a base power of 3.
Polaris: Horseman of Pestilence
The Polaris: Horseman of Pestilence is a card that costs 2 and has a power of 2. It weakens cards already in play by reducing their power by 5. When you play it, its special ability lets you place a card from your hand into play as well.
Archangel: Horseman of Death
The Archangel: Horseman of Death is a 2-cost card with a power of 3. To complete its objective, you need to destroy 4 of your own cards. Once revealed, it brings back one of those destroyed cards with a +4 power boost, making it a strong choice for its cost.
Askani’Son
To play Askani’son, you’ll spend 2 energy. Once activated, it creates a card at a different location that initially costs 1 energy. Each time your turn begins and you’re winning, the cost of this created card goes up. The card starts with a power of 3.
Mother Askani
Okay, so after Cable, we’ve got Mother Askani! She’s a 4-cost card with 4 power, but here’s where it gets really interesting: when you play her, she boosts the power of the furthest left card in your hand by 2 and reduces its cost by 1, then makes a copy of it. Honestly, I think Mother Askani is going to be amazing in the current meta – she’s a game changer!
Wilson Fisk
With the release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 in late March, the villain Kingpin will also be joining the game. Wilson Fisk is a card that costs 5 energy and has a power of 9. When played, it reduces the cost of another card by 2 energy, but only if you currently have the card with the highest power on the board.
Shadowlands Daredevil
Okay, as a huge Daredevil fan, I have to say this new Shadowlands variant in Marvel Snap is intense! It’s way darker and grittier than other versions. When you play it, it actually throws three Demons into your deck, which is a cool mechanic. Plus, whenever you draw a card that’s already pretty strong – 6 power or more – it gets an extra boost of 2 power! It only costs 2 energy and starts with a base power of 2, so it’s a really efficient card.
Punisher War Machine
The latest Marvel Snap update introduces an enhanced Punisher, now called Punisher War Machine! This powerful card lets you claim an empty location as your own when you draw it. The goal? Control that location to gain +1 maximum energy.
Karen Page
Karen Page is shaping up to be a noteworthy card in Marvel Snap, despite being a simple illustration of a woman sitting near a desk. When played, she boosts the power of your other cards costing 1, 2, or 3 by 5. The card itself costs 5 energy and has a base power of 5.
Stick
Stick is a card that costs 4 energy and has 3 power. When you play it, the next card you play will gain power equal to Stick’s 3 power. It’s a straightforward card that works well in decks focused on Shou Lao: The Undying or Shuri.
Ikari
Currently, Ikari is the strongest card added with the March update to Marvel Snap. Its cost of 4 and power of 12 make it a great fit for Nightmare-themed decks. However, you can only play Ikari in locations where an opponent’s card has reduced power.
Muse
Muse is a card that costs 3 and has 3 power. Whenever a friendly card is destroyed, it gains an additional 3 power. The artwork on this version of the card is particularly well-done.
Techno-Organic Virus
This character is a skill card that costs 1 to play. When revealed, it creates a copy of itself in your hand, but the copy costs 2 instead of 1. Additionally, it changes the text of other cards you have in play, giving them the ‘infect’ ability.
