Everyone’s been asking about Vanna White’s age lately, but honestly, what’s more interesting is that after over ten years together, she finally married John Donaldson! That’s a love story I can get behind, and age really doesn’t seem to matter when you find the right person.
The Wheel of Fortune co-host announced on Instagram that she and her partner have gotten married in a secret ceremony.

Vanna White, the co-host of ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ has signed on to continue with the show for another two years, according to Sony Pictures Television. This news comes as Pat Sajak begins his final season hosting the popular game show.
“We’re married!” announced White, 68, in a post on Wednesday. She and John have been together for over ten years and recently decided to make their relationship official with a small, private wedding. They are thrilled to share this happy news with everyone!”
The announcement included a picture of Donaldson carrying his new wife through an archway, along with some photos from their relationship.
She’s known he was her forever guy for a while, it seems.
In a 2023 interview with People, White explained that after 12 years together, she and her partner feel as committed as a married couple. She questioned the need for a formal marriage, saying they’re already comfortable and secure in their relationship, and both are certain they’ve found their life partner.
She described Donaldson as a male counterpart to herself, explaining they have a great rapport. “He’s very easygoing, and we both allow each other to be ourselves,” she said.

Ryan Seacrest is the new host of ‘Wheel of Fortune.’ Here’s how his first episode went down.
According to People magazine, the couple first met in 2012 at a barbecue hosted by a mutual friend. They spent the entire night talking to each other.
Vanna White has been a beloved part of “Wheel of Fortune” since 1982, starting when she was just 25 years old. After Pat Sajak’s retirement in 2024 following over 40 years with the show, Ryan Seacrest became her new co-host, even though many viewers thought White herself deserved the position.
She was married to George Santo Pietro for twelve years, from 1990 until 2002. They have two children: a 31-year-old son, Nicholas (also known as Nikko), who works in real estate, and a 28-year-old daughter, Giovanna (Gigi), who is a tattoo artist.
I’ve always been impressed by Donald Donaldson’s story. He’s a true self-made man, starting out as a carpenter and working his way up in the construction industry. I understand he really honed his skills after the Northridge earthquake, and that led him to found JDC Construction and Development Group. They’re known for beautifully restoring older apartment buildings, but they also build new ones from scratch – a really versatile company!
