Kylie Jenner mourns hairstylist Jesus Guerrero on first anniversary of his passing

On Sunday, Kylie Jenner fondly remembered hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who sadly passed away last year at the age of 34.

Okay, so Kylie Jenner, you know, the beauty mogul with a huge following – over 564 million on social media! – recently posted a really simple, heartfelt message on her Instagram Story. It was just a black and white photo with the caption ‘222 I miss you,’ which definitely got people talking. It’s a sweet, personal little glimpse into her life that she chose to share with her fans.

Jenner recently celebrated the birthday of her beloved hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who passed away, with a small cake on August 23rd. She shared a heartfelt message, saying she and her team think of him every day and miss him dearly.

Before his sudden death, Guerrero had lost around 20 pounds and experienced symptoms like chills and hot flashes. He ultimately died from pneumonia and a fungal infection, both brought on by complications from AIDS.

Jennifer Lopez attended a memorial service for the producer and star of The Kardashians, and a client whose parents were immigrants, held in his hometown of Houston, Texas, on March 30th.

Last year, Jenner offered to pay for Guerrero’s funeral and provide support, according to an update from his sister, Gris, on their GoFundMe page.

Gris explained that the family used the $96,000 they raised – exceeding their $80,000 goal – to cover the costs of retrieving his possessions and other unforeseen expenses related to managing his affairs.

The actress initially praised Guerrero as a talented artist and someone she deeply cared for. In her original statement, she described him as being more than just a friend, but a bright spot in her life who brought her joy, peace, love, and constant encouragement.

I can’t imagine the last nine years without him. He always knew how to brighten even my toughest days.

Guerrero has styled the hair of many celebrities, including Katy Perry, Cassie Fine, Rosalía, Demi Moore, Charli XCX, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, LISA, Jessica Alba, and Shay Mitchell, who recently shared a heartfelt message: ‘Love you and miss you forever.’

Jenner will accompany her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, to the 32nd Actor Awards, which will stream on Netflix starting March 1st. He’s been nominated for both Best Actor and Best Ensemble cast for his work in a film.

Leonardo DiCaprio, age 30 and star of “The Revenant,” is nominated for two Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15th, airing on ABC and Hulu: Best Picture and Best Actor.

During his speech at the Critics Choice Awards on January 4th, Timothée Chalamet publicly thanked his partner of three years, a mother of two from Calabasas, expressing his love and acknowledging the strong base they’ve built together.

I’ve been following their story for ages! Apparently, they first met way back in 2019 at Nobu Malibu – I remember hearing whispers about it then! They’re a pretty private couple, so it wasn’t until 2023 that they finally confirmed they were together. It’s nice to see them officially acknowledging what everyone suspected for years, especially since they were introduced through a mutual friend, the amazing Haider Ackermann.

Before Taylor Swift, the New York native dated several other women, including Lily-Rose Depp, Eiza González, and Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s oldest daughter.
