Harry Styles excited his fans on Monday with the news that he’ll be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 14th.
The 32-year-old singer announced the news on Instagram, posting a picture of a dressing room door covered in sticky notes that said ‘Mar 14 Harry Styles’.
Harry captioned the photo: ‘I love NYC. March 14’.
This acquisition is connected to Harry’s plans to promote his new album, ‘Kiss All The Time,’ which will be released on March 6th.
Harry first hosted the chat show in November 2019, where he performed his songs “Lights Up” and “Watermelon Sugar.”
Besides hosting, he’s performed on the show multiple times. He appeared as a solo artist in 2017 and also with One Direction in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Fans flooded the comments section with enthusiastic reactions, sharing comments like ‘This is absolutely incredible!’ and simply, ‘chills’.
‘Girl we know you love NYC’;
‘So excited to watch on the 14th!!’ and ‘Best news literally’.
Harry will be curating the Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank Centre this summer, following the recent announcement.
The singer is continuing a tradition started by previous curators like David Bowie, Nile Rodgers, Grace Jones, and Yoko Ono.
This June, Harry will be in charge of programming art and music at the famous venue for eleven days. He’ll even be performing himself, just a few days before his concerts at Wembley Stadium as part of his Together, Together tour.
Meltdown is a long-standing music festival, known for being curated by artists, and this year it’s part of the celebrations for the Southbank Centre’s 75th birthday.
Harry expressed his excitement and honor at being asked to curate the Meltdown festival, particularly as the Southbank Centre celebrates its 75th anniversary. He plans to showcase the music and art he’s passionate about and highlight the venue’s incredible legacy.
We both strongly believe music is essential to life, and it connects us all. For 75 years, the Southbank Centre has been a key part of that, making fantastic music accessible to everyone. I’m so thankful to be here and thrilled to have this opportunity at such a legendary venue.
Harry Styles’ Meltdown festival will be held from June 11th to 21st, 2026. The complete list of performers and when tickets go on sale will be revealed in Spring 2026.
Harry has added two extra shows at Wembley Stadium to his tour following criticism from fans who felt his ticket prices were too high and unfair.
The singer originally planned 10 concerts at the famous venue, but will now perform a record-breaking 12 times this summer.
Harry Styles will perform at Wembley Stadium more times on this tour than any other artist has on a single tour, breaking Coldplay’s record of ten shows from their summer 2023 tour.
Taylor Swift recently broke Michael Jackson’s record for the most performances by a solo artist at Wembley Stadium. She played eight shows during her Eras Tour, surpassing Jackson’s seven.
Harry Styles will be performing at the famous venue on multiple dates in June and July: June 12th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 26th, and 27th, as well as July 1st, 3rd, and 4th.
As a huge Harry Styles fan, I was so excited for his tour, but I have to admit I was really disappointed when pre-sale tickets went on sale. A lot of us are feeling like the prices are just way too high, and it’s making him seem a bit out of touch with what fans can actually afford. It’s honestly a little heartbreaking to see so many people calling him ‘greedy’ when we all just want to enjoy his music.
The singer is kicking off a tour with shows in seven cities. However, fans were upset about the high price of tickets after pre-sales started on Monday, noting they were significantly more expensive than those for his previous Love On Tour, which ended last year.
Tickets for the London portion of the event vary widely in price. Seats cost between £44 and £466, while standing-room tickets range from £144 to £279. For a VIP experience, prices start at £469 and can go up to £725.
Tickets for this pre-sale range in price from £44.10 to £466.25, and all orders include a £2.95 handling fee.
Please note that VIP ticket prices are separate. The standard ticket prices will remain the same throughout both the presale and general sale.
