Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford finally responds to claims she’s in a relationship with clothing CEO Huayi Huang as her fledgling romance with Sean Stone hots up

Lucinda Strafford from Love Island addressed rumors on Sunday’s episode that she’s dating Huayi Huang, the CEO of a clothing company, and that he’s financially supporting her.

I was absolutely shocked during last night’s dumping! It was so tough to watch, but they accused one of the finalists – the lovely 26-year-old who’s currently with Sean – of something really serious. It was a brutal moment, honestly.

During the vote to eliminate the least compatible couple, Jack unexpectedly voted for his friend Sean and Lucinda, shocking Sean in the process.

He suggested he’d seen online that Lucinda was dating the CEO of Peppermayo, a clothing brand.

Jack said he’d seen something online about a problem I was having with someone who owns a clothing company.

Defending herself, she said: ‘Yeah that has been an ongoing thing for ages that has been online.’

Later that evening, Lucinda comforted Sean, letting him know that any rumors he’d heard about her weren’t true now.

Sitting by the small fire pit, Lucinda stated clearly, ‘I’m definitely not in a relationship, and I’m not casually dating anyone either.’

‘I just want to make it very, very, very, very clear that I am all for you and I love you.’

I’ve been following Lucinda for a while now, and while she hasn’t addressed the rumors herself, the Daily Mail recently reported that she’s been financially supported by Huayi in the past – apparently, he’s been covering her expensive lifestyle. It’s definitely something people are talking about!

A source told the publication: ‘He funds her lavish lifestyle.

He showers her with lavish dinners and weekend getaways in the UK, and they travel the world together on trips sponsored by the fashion brand Peppermayo.

Lucinda has enjoyed at least eight lavish trips courtesy of the Sydney-based company, such as attending the Miami Grand Prix and Coachella. These trips covered all costs, including luxury accommodations, travel, meals, and beverages.

It is also understood she has received an array of new outfits.

I’ve been following this story for a while now, and it all started with photos surfacing last March. Apparently, Huang and Lucinda were spotted having a pretty heated argument – right there by the pool at a resort in Mexico! That’s when the dating rumors really began to swirl.

Although at the time, she insisted to reporters that the two were ‘just friends’.

Lucinda has also shared videos on Snapchat of the couple at parties and downing shots together.

Lucinda’s former boyfriend has hinted that she’s now seeing someone who isn’t a contestant on the show, seemingly referring to Huayi.

Zac Nunn, who Lucinda met on Love Island Australia, shared on Snapchat that Lucinda is now with someone who is okay with her continuing to appear on dating shows even while they’re together. He believes everyone on the show should know about this arrangement.

Lucinda loves sharing her life online and isn’t afraid to show it off. For example, she recently posted a TikTok of herself smiling and dancing at a basketball game.

The caption reads: ‘Dance if you are on your 8th Peppermayo brand trip in 8 months’.

She also gives viewers a look inside the Tower Penthouse at The Londoner hotel in Leicester Square, a suite that usually costs around £7,000 per night.

Lucinda frequently appears in photos with large rose bouquets, often worth a considerable amount of money, that are delivered to her hotel rooms. She’s also known to travel to events by helicopter.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Peppermayo for a comment.
