Olivia Attwood claims her new London flat is ‘cursed’, details need of a ‘mood corrector’ and shares clips from boozy heartbreak holiday in wake of her split from husband Bradley Dack

She announced her split from husband Bradley Dack last month. 

Olivia Attwood is still adjusting to being single and recently talked about her London apartment, jokingly calling it ‘cursed’ and saying she needed some spiritual help to improve things.

She posted on Instagram asking if anyone with a connection to a higher power could ask the universe if she should move. She says something breaks in her apartment every day and she feels like it’s cursed.

She first shared a message on Sunday, and then posted a picture of the sage she bought online. Burning sage is a traditional practice, originally used by Indigenous cultures, to clear away negative energy from people and spaces.

Olivia, a German citizen, publicly asked for assistance and also posted a video from a family trip she took in January. The trip was to Hamburg to celebrate her father Kai’s birthday and happened around the time she and her husband were separating.

Olivia, known for appearing on the third season of Love Island and making it to the final with her former partner Chris Hughes, has openly discussed leaving her marital home in Manchester and moving to a new apartment in London.

She’s been documenting the difficulties of moving, like unpacking, but recently she expressed worry about a possible ‘curse’.

After sharing a gloomy post, she explained how she quickly improved her mood: with a spray tan. She posted a picture of a portable tanning booth, jokingly calling it an ‘Instant mood corrector’.

I was so excited when she posted that old video! It showed her with her incredibly stylish mom at Chanel, and then cut to a fun party on a boat where she was clearly having a blast – shots were definitely involved! I remember reading she’d already enjoyed a mojito and a few cigarettes earlier in the day, and it just felt so real and relatable to see her letting loose like that.

In a recent video, she shared with her fans that her father’s side of the family is German and she was baptized in the city, but she generally keeps details about her ‘very private’ father to herself.

Oh my god, did you HEAR what she said?! It was amazing! She was just being her totally unfiltered self, and she turned to her mom – who was rocking some leopard print, by the way – and just casually said, ‘You’re looking like a ten out of ten hooker!’ I nearly died laughing, but apparently Jennifer, her mom, was totally shocked! It was the most hilarious, brutally honest thing ever, and I’m still replaying it in my head!

Olivia and Bradley got married in June 2023, following their engagement in 2019. Fans were surprised last month when they announced they were getting divorced.

She announced their breakup on Instagram, writing that she was unsure of what to say or do next, and kept hesitating before posting anything.

I really don’t deal with online vulnerabilities, especially on social media. It feels incredibly risky – like attracting trouble. That’s a problem for someone else to handle.

For a long time now, I’ve been going through a cycle of crying myself to sleep, only to wake up at 5am and pretend everything is fine. It’s been a long, difficult pattern.

She went on, saying that a lot was changing very quickly – something she really dislikes. She hadn’t anticipated ending up living in the apartment by herself, and she admitted she felt overwhelmed by everything.

I’m hoping for happiness, for myself and for Brad, taking things one day at a time. And if anyone else out there needs to hear it, that’s what I’m aiming for too.
