Hilary Swank shared a sweet glimpse from her getaway to Whistler, Canada, on Sunday.

The 51-year-old Academy Award winner shared a glimpse of her personal life, posting a picture of herself skiing with her two-year-old son, Ohm.

She shared a photo to her Instagram Stories saying she had a wonderful weekend with family and friends in the snow [heart emoji], and was struck by how friendly Canadians are!

Hilary Swank stayed warm in a silver puffer jacket, dark pants, and brown boots while posing with her child, who was bundled up in a blue snowsuit.

The actress shared a helpful travel tip with her fans: she stayed at Blackcomb Springs Suites. Prices there range from about $170 per night for a standard suite to over $1,000 for bigger rooms with views of the slopes.

Swank topped off her cozy winter look with a burgundy beanie and gloves.

Meanwhile her son’s face was covered with a blue heart emoji for privacy.

Hilary Swank is very private about her children and has always made sure their faces aren’t visible in any photos she shares.

She shared that Blackcomb Springs Suites are a fantastic choice for families, and even welcome dogs! She also praised the staff for being incredibly helpful and kind.

She shared a rare photo in December of her twins admiring a large, decorated Christmas tree.

The toddlers were dressed in cute clothes. Aya wore a tartan dress with puffy sleeves, tights, and red shoes, while her brother, Ohm, had on a tartan long-sleeved shirt, brown corduroy pants, and black slip-on shoes.

Hillary Swank wrote in her post’s caption that she hoped everyone had a chance to relax and enjoy both the special and everyday joys of the holiday season.

‘Wishing you a joyful, healthy and abundant 2026 from my family to yours.’

Swank opened up about freezing her eggs at 37 in an interview with Women’s Health last April.

‘I would have had kids earlier. I’m not saying I actively waited until 47,’ she said.

That period of my life felt truly special, like everything was coming together perfectly. The timing was just right for so many reasons.

The actor shared that being able to freeze their eggs was a relief, explaining that it helped reduce some of the stress they were feeling.

She explained that having a child later in life made her a different kind of parent than she would have been even a few years earlier, like in her early 40s.

I’ve become a lot more patient and understanding. I’m genuinely curious about how my children think and what motivates them. Because I’m settled in my career, I can fully focus on being a present and actively involved parent.

Hilary Swank has won two Academy Awards for Best Actress, once for her role in ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ (1999) and again for ‘Million Dollar Baby’ (2004).

The star and her husband met on a blind date in November 2016, and went on to marry in 2018. 

It came five months after she ended her three-month engagement to former tennis pro, Ruben Torres.

Swank’s prior eight-year marriage to her Quiet Days in Hollywood co-star Chad Lowe ended in 2007.

In December, Hilary Swank received negative attention online after a disagreement at LAX airport. She reacted angrily to a mother who was taking her seriously ill children to Disneyland through the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Swank has since contacted the mother on Instagram, apologizing for her behavior.
