Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria reveals ‘girl dad’ husband’s hilarious looks after daughters give him a makeover

Hilaria Baldwin posted a funny picture on Sunday of her husband, Alec Baldwin, being treated like royalty by their daughters.

Okay, so I just had to share this adorable moment! This amazing dad – you know, the kind everyone loves – was getting a full makeover from his daughters, and someone captured a screenshot of their FaceTime call. It was seriously hilarious and so sweet to see them bonding like that. It’s these little moments that really matter, isn’t it? Definitely brightened my day!

He was video chatting with his daughter, Ireland Baldwin, who he shares with his former wife, Kim Basinger.

Meanwhile, one of Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s daughters was playfully giving him a makeover, applying makeup and topping it off with a glittery headband.

Ireland first shared the photo on her own social media, calling it ‘a pretty, pretty princess!!!!!’ Then, Hilaria shared the same photo on her Instagram Story.

Hilaria Baldwin, who recently responded strongly to a joke about her past claims of Spanish heritage, shared a post tagging Ireland and writing, ‘I’m so glad you were on FaceTime for all of this!’ with a laughing emoji.

Alec shared a sweet ‘girl dad’ moment, with all of his daughters participating, and marked the occasion with pink heart emojis.

This cheerful update follows a difficult period last October when Ireland, age 30, publicly described her family as harmful and self-centered.

In the following days, Hilaria had shared a heartfelt message in response to her stepdaughter.

Alec and his oldest daughter, Ireland, haven’t been close for a while, but Hilaria’s recent post seemed to suggest they were starting to repair their relationship.

You know, as someone who loves seeing family connections, this just warmed my heart! I saw a screenshot of me beaming while my dad, Alec, patiently let his daughters – my half-sisters – give him a full makeup makeover. Think pink eyeshadow and mascara! It was such a sweet and playful moment, and a perfect reminder to cherish those little family interactions.

His short hair was also pushed back with a too-small, rhinestone-covered headband.

Oh my gosh, Alec and Hilaria! They’re just the cutest, even with that 26-year age difference! They tied the knot way back in 2012, and now they have seven kids – three beautiful daughters and four amazing sons! I seriously can’t get over how much their family has grown. It’s just… perfect!

They are the parents of eight children: Carmen, age 12; Rafael, 10; Leonardo, 9; Romeo, 7; Eduardo, 5; María, 4; and Ilaria, 2.

Just a few months ago, Ireland turned thirty and shared a reflective essay with her family about her experiences in her twenties.

She celebrated reaching a personal goal by writing an essay on Substack, where she shared her thoughts on dealing with a difficult family.

Her post began with a revealing title: ‘Turning 30, looking back, and avoiding my narcissistic family.’

She wrote about freeing herself from the burden of having family members who struggled with narcissism, unreliability, and addiction.

‘I move into 30 with a lot less weight on my shoulders,’ she wrote about her family.

She didn’t mention any family members by name, but she did talk a little about her parents and what it was like growing up as an only child.

The post described a heavy burden caused by constantly supporting family members struggling with addiction and exhibiting unreliable, self-centered behavior – people the author once believed were essential to their life.

‘I grew up without two parents in my home and no siblings to turn to,’ she wrote.

I sometimes felt lonely as a child, and that led me to feel like I always had to prove myself to some family members.

Ireland explained that recognizing harmful patterns in her family was freeing, especially now that she’s a mother and sees things from a new perspective.

She welcomed her first child, her daughter Holland, in May 2023 with musician boyfriend RAC.

I really valued their approval and compliments, for some reason. But it was incredibly liberating when I finally understood how toxic they actually were.

She explained that entering her thirties felt like a turning point – a realization of how to stop repeating old patterns.

I want to shield my daughter from people I don’t trust and create a loving family for her on my own terms. I want to demonstrate what a healthy family looks like through my actions.

Ireland’s relationship with her father became very difficult after he left her a hurtful voice message when she was eleven years old, calling her a disrespectful name. The incident became widely known and caused a public rift between them.

In a recent Substack post, she mentioned protecting her two-year-old daughter, Holland, from certain family members she described as ‘poisonous.’ However, she has since introduced her daughter to her own parents, implying the post wasn’t about them.
