Kate Hudson turned heads at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards, wearing a stunning red silk dress.
Oh my gosh, you guys, did you SEE her?! She was absolutely breathtaking at The Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday! She’s 46, can you believe it?! She looked like a total old Hollywood icon in this stunning, strapless Prada gown. Seriously, she just exuded glamour. I’m obsessed!
The dress was very flattering, with a fitted waist that highlighted her slim figure. She completed the look with delicate jewelry, including a striking diamond necklace.
Kate, nominated for her performance in Song Sung Blue, appeared cheerful and smiled brightly as she walked the red carpet at the awards ceremony.
The American actress received a nomination for Best Leading Actress and is also up for an Oscar this year.
Twenty-five years after being nominated for an award alongside Penny Lane from “Almost Famous”, Kate Hudson is up for the same prize again this year. She’ll be competing against Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Chase Infiniti, Renata Reinsve, and Emma Stone.
At the event, Kate was joined by her dapper partner Danny Fujikawa, 39.
The musician looked sharp in a black suit while posing with his partner, with whom he shares their 8-year-old daughter, Rani Rose.
In the movie Song Sung Blue, Kate plays Claire Sardina, one half of the musical duo Lightning & Thunder. Claire and her partner, Mike (played by Hugh Jackman), found both love and success performing as a tribute to Neil Diamond. The film is inspired by a real-life couple.
The EE BAFTA Film Awards will take place Sunday evening at the Royal Festival Hall, part of the Southbank Centre, celebrating the best in modern film.
This year’s awards ceremony, hosted by Alan Cumming, will celebrate the biggest films of the year and welcome stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, and Michael B. Jordan.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share that the red carpet scene is going to be buzzing! We’ll have DJ Neev Spencer setting the vibe with a fantastic set, and I’m thrilled Clara Amfo and Ali Plumb will be on the ground, giving us live updates from right outside the iconic London venue. It’s going to be a night to remember!
The show will feature a star-studded lineup of guest hosts, including Aimee Lou Wood, Alicia Vikander, Cillian Murphy, Ethan Hawke, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sadie Sink, and Stormzy.
The Royal Festival Hall will host appearances by stars like Kerry Washington, Minnie Driver, Monica Bellucci, Patrick Dempsey, and Regé-Jean Page, as well as many other notable guests.

Everyone expects Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film, One Battle After Another, to win many awards, especially after receiving an impressive fourteen nominations this year.
However, it’s up against strong contenders, including the horror film Sinners, which received thirteen nominations, and Hamnet, a poignant drama directed by Chloé Zhao about the death of Shakespeare’s son, earning eleven nominations.
Based on Maggie O’Farrell’s acclaimed novel, the film Hamnet—which tells the story of Shakespeare’s family—has received the most BAFTA nominations ever for a movie directed by a woman.
Jessie Buckley, the Irish actress, has received an award nomination for her performance in a film, following previous wins at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, and nominations from the Academy Awards and Screen Actors Guild.
Paul Mescal, a fellow actor in the film who wasn’t nominated for an Oscar, is also hoping to win an award, having received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the BAFTAs.
Marty Supreme and Timothée Chalamet are hoping for continued success after receiving eleven BAFTA nominations – including for Best Film and Best Actor – building on their recent wins at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
Frankenstein and Sentimental Value both received eight nominations. I Swear and Bugonia each earned five nominations, while The Ballad of Wallis Island, Pillion, and F1 each received three.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m keeping a close eye on the BAFTA nominations, and the Leading Actress category is packed with talent this year! We’ve got Rose Byrne, who’s incredible in ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,’ alongside the always-brilliant Kate Hudson for ‘Song Sung Blue.’ Newcomer Chase Infiniti is getting buzz for ‘One Battle After Another,’ and Renate Reinsve is earning rave reviews for ‘Sentimental Value.’ Of course, Emma Stone is also in the mix with her performance in ‘Bugonia.’ It’s going to be a tough competition – so many deserving actresses!
Oh my gosh, Leo could actually win another BAFTA! I’m seriously losing it! This is his SEVENTH nomination, and it’s for his performance in ‘One Battle After Another’ – that movie is a masterpiece and he absolutely deserves it. I’m so excited for him, a second BAFTA would be incredible!
This year’s BAFTA Film Awards have a number of first-time nominees, including Robert Aramayo, Odessa A’zion, Rose Byrne, Chase Infiniti, Michael B. Jordan, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Stellan Skarsgård, and Teyana Taylor.
