Katherine Schwarzenegger has revealed the old-fashioned tradition she still keeps up.
The author loves to write cards to her loved ones.
As someone who’s always looking for meaningful ways to connect, I’ve noticed a real shift away from digital greetings. So many e-cards get lost in the shuffle! That’s why I completely understand why Chris Pratt’s wife prefers the personal touch of a handwritten card – something you can actually hold and cherish. It’s a lovely way to show you care, and it really stands out these days.
She recently showed the Daily Mail how she organizes her greeting cards, which is perfect timing since Hallmark is currently having a big sale.
‘Handwritten cards have always been my jam, thanks to my mama!’ wrote the star on Instagram.
Her ‘mama’ is TV journalist Maria Shriver; her father is movie icon Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I always keep a supply of greeting cards – like thank you notes, birthday cards, or just cards to brighten someone’s day – so I’m prepared whenever I need one.
I recently took advantage of Hallmark’s sale to buy all the cards I’ll need for the year. I recommend you do the same – it’s one less thing to worry about! While texts are great for quick messages, a handwritten card can be cherished forever.

This comes after Pratt said he thought Schwarzenegger was ‘really cute’ when he first saw her.
The 46-year-old actor denied claims that his mother-in-law, Shriver, was key to him first meeting Katherine.
During an appearance on FOX and Friends, Chris explained: ‘That’s actually not true.
Let’s get this straight. I first saw my wife at a church in Hollywood. I admit, you’re not supposed to notice girls at church, but I’m only human, and I immediately thought she was very attractive.
Chris first met Katherine while he was with his 13-year-old son, Jack, who he shares with his former wife, Anna Faris.
The actor shared that he met Katherine while picking up his son, Jack, from a children’s activity. He said it was the beginning of their relationship.
He previously joked that he was ‘sneaking glances’ at his future wife in Church.
On The Drew Barrymore Show, Chris talked about feeling self-conscious at church. He explained he didn’t want to draw attention to himself, but couldn’t help noticing someone and realizing he needed help. He jokingly admitted to thinking, ‘Who is that? Wait, what am I doing? I’m struggling, someone help me!’
The actor said their relationship happened very quickly. He also called Katherine the woman he’d always dreamed of being with.
Chris believes things happen quickly when the time is right. He described falling in love, getting married, and now having two daughters who have expanded his family.
Honestly, my life completely turned around when I finally connected with something bigger than myself. It was like, I was lost, and I just begged for help, and then… I felt it. A real sense of being rescued. And then, get this, not long after, I met her. The woman I’ve been dreaming of my whole life. It’s just… everything changed.
What’s more, Chris joked about his relationship with his father-in-law.
The actress, who married Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2019, joked that his influence wasn’t just typical peer pressure – it was something much stronger.
