Josie Gibson shows off incredible five stone weight loss in skinny jeans and a bikini after revealing how she shifted the pounds with a ‘1970s diet’

Okay, let’s talk weight loss! As someone who’s always exploring healthy lifestyles, I’ve been fascinated by Josie Gibson‘s recent transformation. She’s lost an amazing five stone, and she’s been sharing that she achieved it by following a diet inspired by the 1970s – think simpler eating, less processed food, and a focus on whole ingredients. It’s really inspiring to see her success and how she’s embracing a more back-to-basics approach to food. It just goes to show that sometimes the old ways really are the best!

The TV presenter, 40, looked slimmer than ever as she was pictured in London on Thursday afternoon.

Josie looked happy and cheerful as she strolled through the city center after being on the TV show, This Morning.

She was running errands wearing a bright orange satin blouse and dark-wash skinny jeans, showing off her fit figure.

Josie wore tight-fitting jeans that revealed the results of liposuction she had on her legs as part of her treatment for lipoedema, a condition affecting fat distribution.

She recently revealed she had cosmetic surgery to address a medical condition and intends to have multiple additional procedures, even though they cost around £7,000.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what happened! I was watching This Morning, and Josie was on with Cat and Ben, and she was sharing this awful comment someone left on her Instagram. Apparently, this person actually said she has a ‘typical lipoedema body’! Can you even imagine? It just broke my heart to hear her talk about it. It’s so rude and insensitive, and she didn’t deserve that at all!

I always felt like something was off with my body, but I didn’t understand what it was until I was diagnosed with lipoedema about a year ago. I then had surgery in September.

Josie had surgery to remove unwanted fat from specific areas of her body using liposuction.

I was so worried about Josie, but she recently had surgery to address those stubborn pockets of fat she’d been struggling with. It was liposuction, and the doctors explained it helps get rid of those localized fat deposits that are hard to shift with diet and exercise. I’m really hoping it helps her feel more confident!

She then had VASER treatment, a procedure that uses ultrasound to dissolve fat cells.

Lipoedema is a lasting condition, as defined by the NHS, where excess fat builds up in the legs, hips, and buttocks, and can occasionally affect the arms. It typically affects both sides of the body in a similar way.

Josie, feeling more confident, shared a bikini photo from her vacation with her son, Reggie.

She recently traveled to Thailand and posted on Instagram about having fun at lively parties.

Okay, seriously, if you’re planning a trip to Thailand, you HAVE to check out Twinpalms Montazure in Phuket! I just got back and it was EVERYTHING. The beach clubs are insane – exactly my vibe, totally wild and fun. And the staff? Forget about it, they were absolutely amazing and made my stay perfect. I’m already planning my return trip!

Josie recently shared her daily eating habits with the Daily Mail, revealing she follows intermittent fasting three times a week and a straightforward gym routine. Her diet is inspired by the 1970s, focusing on smaller meals and foods like boiled potatoes, liver, spam, pork, beans, and Angel Delight.

This diet focuses on simple, whole foods with minimal sugar. It prioritizes cooking meals at home instead of relying on quick and easy options like takeout or frozen dinners.

Despite her weight loss, she explained it’s likely due to stress and clever posing, saying she doesn’t believe she’s as thin as people assume.

I’m juggling a lot right now! I recently bought a house in Bath that I’m fixing up, and I’m also trying to be a good mom while traveling around the country for work.

‘I got so overwhelmed I got to Thailand and slept for 27 hours.’

She added: ‘I think it must be good angles, I’m so chunky and not as slim as you think.’
