A beloved English TV host looked unrecognisable in a newly-shared childhood snap.
He’s become a well-known comedian on British television, but this cute old photo shows him as a happy, mischievous little boy.
He looked very different from the polished host we see now, but his bright smile was still recognizable.
He’s known for hosting popular TV shows and reality programs, but his career actually began as an actor, with roles in series like Skins and Casualty.
It’s amazing to see how far he’s come! Just a few decades ago, he was starting out, and now he’s right up there with the biggest names, hosting the hugely popular show, The Masked Singer on ITV. As a longtime fan, it’s so rewarding to watch his success!

The comedian, now 40, shared a sweet childhood photo with his fans, a glimpse from before he became famous as a stand-up performer.
He posted a picture on his Instagram Stories with his brother Ben, wishing him a happy birthday.
‘Happy birthday to my big bro! He still wears red trousers tbf.’
And while his style may have had a serious upgrade, that trademark grin hasn’t changed one bit.
Joel recently got a nipple piercing after losing a bet to his friend and podcast co-host, Ben Shepherd.
The ITV presenters are expanding their partnership with a new podcast called The Business Men, and they’ve also started a skincare line for men, Joel And Ben For Skin.
Although going through with the forfeit, Joel made his displeasure about the situation very clear.
As the bar was placed through his nipple, he said: ‘I absolutely hate it.’
It was a bit awkward, honestly, but Ben just seemed to be having a blast! I remember Holly joking, ‘Look, we made a little baby bar,’ and he was clearly finding the whole thing hilarious.
Following this, Ben, 51, asked his pal: ‘How does that feel?’
To which Joel responded: ‘I feel we’d better have a f***ing successful skincare brand.’
For their bet, the TV favourites attempted to generate the UK’s largest male skincare survey.
Participants could vote to have a nipple pierced, and Ben was saved by a very narrow margin – only 2% of the votes separated him from getting pierced.
Honestly, everyone was absolutely shocked last week on The Masked Singer when Ben was revealed as Conkers! The audience, the judges, even Joel – we were all completely stunned. It was a huge surprise!
He made it all the way to the final two, placing behind Moth, aka Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan.
