Genshin Impact is launching Version 6.4 on February 25, 2026, and it will run until April 7, 2026. This update includes limited-time events, new characters, and the return of popular characters through rerun banners. Here’s a look at the event calendar for Version 6.4, so you know what to expect!
Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Event Calendar: Phase 1
Phase 1 Character and Weapon Banner (February 25, 2026, to March 17, 2026)
I’m so excited for the next update! It looks like Phase 1 will bring some amazing new characters and weapons. We’re finally getting Varka as a 5-star character, and he’ll have his own special weapon available on his banner. Plus, it’s awesome that they’re bringing back Flins with his signature weapon too! And it doesn’t stop there – three 4-star characters are also getting rerun banners, which is fantastic news for anyone who missed them the first time around.
Challenge Varka Community Event (February 25, 2026, to March 3, 2026)
Challenge Varka is the first event kicking off Version 6.4. By completing it, you’ll earn 30 Primogems.
Homeward He Who Caught the Wind Main Event (February 27, 2026, to March 16, 2026)
The biggest highlight of Version 6.4 is the “Homeward He Who Caught the Wind” event, which takes place in Mondstadt. Players can earn a total of 960 Primogems, plus a free 4-star weapon skin, materials to upgrade weapons, Mora (the in-game currency), Seriana pt furniture, and other useful items.
Stygian Onslaught (February 25, 2026, to April 7, 2026)
Sightseeing With Friends Event (March 16, 2026 to March 26, 2026)
This event lets you take photos of your Genshin Impact characters at different locations. You can earn up to 420 Primogems as rewards!
Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Event Calendar: Phase 2
Phase 2 Character and Weapon Banner (March 17, 2026, to April 7, 2026)
Once the first part of Version 6.4 is finished, new banners for Skirk and Escoffier will be released. Both characters will have their rerun banners alongside their special weapons. In addition, three 4-star characters will also get rerun banners.
Operation Stronghold Defense Event (March 23, 2026, to April 6, 2026)
Okay, so in this event, we’re basically defending our fortress, but it’s not about directly controlling our characters! Instead, we’ll be setting up cool defenses that use elemental reactions and attacks to take down the enemies. And the best part? We can get a whopping 420 Primogems just by playing! I’m really excited to try out all the different ways to protect our fort and snag those rewards.
Overflowing Abundance (March 30, 2026, to April 6, 2026)
In this event, use Original Resin to get Double drops from the talent and weapon materials Domains.
