Honor of Kings is gearing up for a big year in esports, starting with the Indonesia Honor of Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2026 tournament, which will run from February to April. The tournament will include both online matches and live events. The winning team will automatically qualify for the Honor of Kings World Cup later in the year. This exciting MOBA event is being organized by Level Infinite and TiMi Studios.

Indonesia Honor of Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2026: Schedule and Format

I’m so excited for this event! It’s going to happen in three phases. First up is the Group Stage, starting February 27th and running until April 4th. Ten teams will be competing, and they’ll all play each other once in a round-robin format. Then, the matches will switch to a best-of-five series!

The two highest-ranking teams from the initial group stage will move directly to the playoffs, while the four lowest-ranking teams will be out of the competition. The remaining four teams will compete in a Play-In tournament on April 5th. These matches will be best-of-seven, using the Ultimate Battle mode. Teams will be ranked, and the two teams that win in the Play-Ins will earn a spot in the playoffs.

The Playoffs will be held from April 10th to 12th. Four teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, meaning each team gets two chances before being eliminated. All matches will be best-of-seven, and will feature the Ultimate Battle game mode.

Participating Teams

Indonesia is hosting this event for the third time, and mobile MOBA games are incredibly popular there. Bigetron by Vitality, the previous winner, is starting the competition with a clean slate. This year will also see two new teams joining as partners.

So, starting in 2026, things are changing in Honor of Kings! Every match in the regular season will be a best-of-five, and playoffs will be best-of-seven. Honestly, I think this is awesome. It gives teams more room to strategize and come back if they fall behind, which means more exciting matches overall. Plus, the developers have said they’re committed to keeping the game balanced, so it should be a fair fight for everyone.

Prize Pool

The total prize money for this event is $60,000. The winner will get the biggest prize, with other prizes awarded based on final standings.

Teams can win prizes ranging from $500 to $100, depending on their performance. In addition to this, there’s a standard prize pool distributed as follows:
