Mel B showed off her leopard-print bra while modeling at the Natasha Zinko fashion show during London Fashion Week.
Mel B, the Spice Girl, confidently walked the runway at the Natasha Zinko fashion show on Friday, demonstrating her modeling skills at the event held on Leake Street.
She turned heads in a unique dress: a dark green and blue tartan coat dress with a full, balloon-style skirt. The back of the dress playfully read ‘Happy Late Birthday’.
As Mel B reached the runway’s end, she dramatically opened her coat, revealing a leopard-print bra with a low neckline, and playfully stuck her tongue out.
She completed her outfit with pale blue, fluffy stilettos covered in studs, and a bold pearl necklace that spelled out ‘Lucky’.
Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, was joined at the event by her daughter, Phoenix Brown. Phoenix wore a tartan skirt paired with a navy satin camisole.
Mel B returned to the runway with designer Natasha, and the two took selfies together behind the scenes.
This news follows reports that plans for a Spice Girls reunion have been cancelled due to increasing disagreements within the group.
The Spice Girls – Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, and Geri Halliwell-Horner – were planning a Netflix project to celebrate 30 years since the band formed.
Sources say Geri, 53, is undecided about participating, as her relationship with Mel B is becoming strained.
Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, didn’t attend Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday party last month, though the other three Spice Girls were there.
Mel B wasn’t at the recent Spice Girls get-together at Victoria Beckham’s house – a casual evening of singing ‘Viva Forever’ over dinner – as she was enjoying her honeymoon in Mauritius with her husband, Rory McPhee.
Oh my god, I just heard the most awful thing! Apparently, the show isn’t happening right now, and it’s killing me! Someone who knows what’s going on told The Sun that fans – us fans – are going to be absolutely heartbroken. They’ve been working on this for years, trying to get it just right and make sure the band was happy with everything. But the streaming service just isn’t ready to give the go-ahead yet. It’s like, all this work, all this hope… and it’s stuck in limbo! I’m seriously devastated.
Just because something might happen later doesn’t change the fact that the show was primarily created to mark a significant anniversary.
‘Now all hopes of that happening have been snuffed out.’
Suzanne Mackie, the producer behind the hit show The Crown, was working on the new project. Jack Rooke, a Bafta-winning writer known for the comedy series Big Boys, was writing the script.
A documentary about the band, known for their 1996 hit single ‘Wannabe,’ was reportedly being developed with Netflix, but this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
Daily Mail have contacted Netflix and The Spice Girls representatives for comment.
Victoria Beckham recently reunited with her former Spice Girls bandmates on Instagram for a virtual singalong, marking her first participation with the group since she decided not to join their 2019 tour.
Despite recent family drama involving her son Brooklyn, Victoria Beckham reunited with her former bandmates to sing at her London home, marking the 30th anniversary of the group’s formation.
Mel B has expressed interest in a Spice Girls reunion and hinted at the possibility by liking a fan’s comment about it.
As the women sang together, Victoria’s son, Cruz, played guitar. His girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, age 30, was seated at the table, and the family’s chefs observed from the kitchen behind glass doors.
Romeo, 23, playfully commented on a family post, writing ‘Sounds like this has happened before!’ His brother, Cruz, then added, ‘Do they sound like Little Mix?’
Victoria seems interested in joining the band, as she recently shared a video of herself singing one of their most popular songs live.
David Beckham, age 50, seems to be enjoying the renewed attention around the Spice Girls. He shared a heart emoji in response to his wife’s new video. This comes shortly after their son, Brooklyn, removed tattoos dedicated to his parents, including the word ‘Dad’ from his arm.
The ladies have been teasing the fact that something is in the pipeline for some time.
In November, Mel C talked about her new album, Sweat, on Good Morning America, and was asked about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion.
Hoping for the best, she shared that she’s still positive about the future. Next year will mark their thirtieth anniversary. They had a fantastic tour in 2019, including some amazing stadium shows in the UK.
We’re incredibly proud of what the Spice Girls have achieved, and it’s amazing to see new generations enjoying our music. We’d love to perform together again, and we’re exploring possibilities. The only thing holding us back is wanting to make sure any reunion is perfect for everyone and feels right for our legacy.
