Rebecca Zukowski, who starred on Married At First Sight, was recently seen looking sad and without her wedding ring, sparking speculation about her relationship status.
On Tuesday night, 51-year-old woman was devastated to learn that her husband, Steve Powell, 50, had ended their marriage.
And Rebecca looked forlorn on Friday when she was spotted on a solo outing in Melbourne.
I always admire Rebecca’s style, and even though she seemed a little down, she looked fantastic! She was wearing this really cool graphic tee from Anine Bing – it’s $226, but totally worth it for that effortlessly chic look, if you ask me.
She also showcased her lithe legs in a pair of crisp white shorts that finished mid-thigh.
Rebecca completed her casual outfit with black sunglasses and black slide sandals.
The celebrity was seen with a small white leather handbag and a laptop, likely heading to a business meeting or to work.
Rebecca answered a phone call while out and about, and seemed very focused on the conversation as she walked.
Rebecca was wearing a gold necklace, but she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring – the one Steve gave her when they got married.
In a video obtained by the Daily Mail this week, the woman referred to her ex-husband, Steve, with a harsh nickname – ‘Temu George Clooney’ – and used extremely offensive language towards him during a video call.
‘I don’t need a broke a*** silver fox Temu George Clooney,’ she said.
‘I need a real man now to slide into my DMs. I’m ready for love.’
This happened after Steve abruptly ended his relationship with Rebecca on Tuesday night, following a heated argument with relationship expert Alessandra Rampolla.
The argument began when the husbands were talking about the steamy challenges their wives had planned for intimacy week.
Steve told the group that Rebecca decided not to wear the lingerie she bought because she knew he’d be uncomfortable with it, given his more traditional views.
He surprisingly said that avoiding the suggestive challenge had actually brought them closer together.
‘She chose not to dress up and make me uncomfortable,’ he said.
‘It actually bonded us… she brought us closer by not doing that.’
Steve changed his story and confessed that he and the other person had a disagreement after the challenge, away from the cameras, which resulted in him sleeping separately that night.
He also admitted to questioning Rebecca’s motives for being in the experiment.
I overheard Rebecca saying she was only on the show to find love, and honestly, I questioned that. I really think she has other motivations too, and I let her know that’s what I believe.
Steve then, to the shock of the assembled grooms, questioned Alessandra’s credibility.
‘I don’t have an earpiece in my ear. I’m not waiting for someone to tell me what to say,’ he said.
When she denied receiving instructions through an earpiece, Steve responded with a dismissive laugh.
Let me be frank: I’m really put off by the disrespect I’m sensing. I’m here to offer my expertise and guidance, and it’s disheartening when that’s not met with basic courtesy. I’m a pretty understanding person, but I do have my limits, so I’m asking you to please be mindful of how you communicate with me.
When Steve returned to the hotel room to face Rebecca again, the situation escalated and became even more difficult.
She accused Steve of not making an effort in the relationship and displaying little accountability.
Steve admitted he didn’t want to engage in sexually suggestive acts to try and become closer to Rebecca, and Rebecca dismissed the idea as ridiculous.
That was the final issue that broke the couple apart. Steve packed his bags and left Rebecca, but not without making a hurtful comment first.
He told me, “Now you can finally be yourself and show everyone what you’re really capable of.” Then he encouraged me to go all out.
Rebecca was no less scathing in her parting assessment of Steve.
‘He would have to be the weakest man I’ve ever met in my entire life,’ she told producers.
