Evangelion Fans Get New Phone Case Release From CASETiFY Following 30-Year Anniversary

The franchise offers a wide range of official merchandise, going well beyond typical collectibles like model kits. It’s now partnering with a major phone case and tech accessory company for a second time.

I’m so excited – they’re doing another Evangelion and CASETiFY collaboration! This is actually the second one this decade, which is amazing. The new collection of phone cases is going to be a total celebration of the whole series, with tons of different colors and logos inspired by the classic anime. They’ll be available on the CASETiFY website and in stores soon, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate the series’ anniversary, even if it’s a little late!

New Evangelion & CASETiFY Phone Case Release Celebrates 30 Years of the Anime

CASETiFY is partnering with Neon Genesis Evangelion again, following their initial collaboration in July 2023. This new collection, released a year later, commemorates the 30th anniversary of Evangelion with a diverse selection of designs.

In addition to featuring well-known characters, the designs will include familiar elements for fans of the original anime. These include imagery of the Fourth Angel, the show’s antagonists, as well as the 30th anniversary and NERV logos. One design even uses the iconic purple and green color scheme of the EVA Unit-01 robot.

Plus, two new items will be unveiled at an event near the summer, specifically from February 21st to 23rd at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa. Attendees will get an exclusive first look at two new phone case designs: one featuring the Angel Sachiel, and another inspired by the Second Impact explosion. Many of these cases can also be personalized with initials, adding a unique touch to the anime-themed designs.

Starting February 20th, these products will be available not only on the website but also in several Japanese stores, including CASETiFY OSAKA Shinsaibashi, and locations within Sapporo, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Osaka, Hiroshima, Hakata, and Nagoya. Special items created for the event will be restocked in June. Currently, there are no confirmed plans for international release.
