Connor Storrie, known for his role in Heated Rivalry, is in discussions to appear in the new comedy Peaked. The film centers around two former high school stars who attempt to recapture their former glory at their 10-year class reunion.
The new A24 film stars Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan, known for their roles in The Bear and Shiva Baby. Gordon also directed the movie and co-wrote the screenplay with Levitan.
The film features Emma Mackey and Simone Ashley, known for their roles in Sex Education, alongside Laura Dern, a celebrated actress from Big Little Lies and Jurassic Park. It also stars Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, and Gabby Windey.

So, I just read on Deadline that they’ve cast Storrie in this new movie, but they’re being super secretive about who they’re playing! Honestly, details about the whole thing are pretty scarce. From what I gather, it’s called Peaked and it’s about a high school reunion. Apparently, it follows two former popular girls who are trying to relive their glory days – you know, the time when they were at their ‘peak’ in high school. Sounds kinda interesting, right?
Following his directorial debut with 2023’s Theater Camp, Gordon’s second feature film, Peaked, is a production of A24, with support from David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman, and Gordon himself. Levitan served as an executive producer on the project.
If the role is confirmed, Peaked would be Storrie’s first movie appearance since gaining international recognition for Heated Rivalry. In that film, he played Ilya Rozanov, a Russian hockey player, alongside Hudson Williams’ Shane Hollander. The story follows the two team captains as they secretly fall in love despite their rivalry.
Storrie had small roles in several projects, including the movie Joker: Folie à Deux, where he played the young inmate who fatally stabs Joaquin Phoenix’s character, Arthur, at the end. After the film was released, some viewers speculated that this act could mean Storrie’s character was taking over as the new Joker, but this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
I’m so excited! After seeing Storrie absolutely kill it in Heated Rivalry, I just found out he’s going to be hosting Saturday Night Live on February 28th! And Mumford & Sons are going to be the musical guests – seriously, this is going to be amazing!
He’s also the star, writer, and director of the independent science fiction film, Transaction Planet. The movie centers around an alien spirit taking over the body of a 25-year-old man.
