SEGA first revealed Football Club Champions in July 2025, and a limited beta test followed in August. Initially, the game was scheduled to launch in 2025, but SEGA decided to postpone it to refine the experience. The game officially launched on January 22, 2026.

Handle player transfers and guide your team from a struggling underdog to a championship force. Plus, compete against others in player-versus-player modes, cup games, and international competitions.
