Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, was arrested for indecent exposure in Louisiana shortly before his wedding. The arrest happened just three months before he married a woman he had only been dating for two weeks.
A 50-year-old man, whose children also work in the entertainment industry, was arrested in Lafayette, Louisiana on July 27, 2025, accused of indecent exposure.
Court records obtained by Daily Mail show Lopez was arrested by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for indecent exposure. He’s accused of intentionally exposing himself in public with the goal of causing sexual arousal or offense.
The Daily Mail contacted Jennifer Lopez for comment, but she didn’t respond. They also contacted representatives for Jo Rae, but haven’t received a reply yet.
The alleged incident occurred on August 31, 2024.
The charges are listed as felony obscenity and a sex crime and his bond was listed as $2,500.
Lopez pled not guilty, and has a hearing scheduled for next month on March 19.
In October, Lopez remarried in Las Vegas after dating a woman for just two weeks.
Monty, after separating from Addison’s mother, Sheri Easterling, in 2022, married Kaitlyn Nicole Robins, who works in the medical field, on October 25th, according to TMZ.
The popular TikTok star, age 25, didn’t attend her own wedding. Her father explained to the media, ‘I kept it a secret. I followed my heart, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m in love with this woman!’
The band was touring and had just played a show in Los Angeles, where they invited Charli XCX to perform with them.

Addison’s parents first married in 2004, got divorced, and then remarried in 2014.
In addition to their famous daughter, they also share Enzo, 17, and Lucas, 12.

He shared a photo of himself without a shirt and announced he was done hiding things, claiming his former partner was preventing him from seeing his kids.
The property manager posted on Instagram Stories, simply writing ‘Unbothered!’ and thanking @youngravy for taking the remaining food.
Monty shared a post with the hashtag ‘#tiredoflivinglie’ expressing his regret over distancing himself from his daughter and two grandchildren. He stated he felt forced to choose between them and a woman named SheriNicole, and urged others not to let a partner make them choose between her and their children.

In this case, a woman named Renee Ash claimed she was led to believe by Monty that he was a divorced man when they began a five-month relationship. When she discovered he was still married, it understandably caused a huge rift within his family – a really painful situation for everyone involved.
In the 2025 song “Headphones On,” Addison sings about her parents’ relationship, expressing a longing for their love and acknowledging that not all relationships are permanent with the lyrics, ‘Wish my mom and dad could’ve been in love / Guess some things weren’t meant to last forever.’
Three years after her separation from her husband, Sheri shared a message with her followers on social media.
Dealing with private issues becoming public is always difficult and upsetting for those involved. I’m going to be alright, though.
My children are my top priority, and always will be. I’ll always do everything I can to protect their feelings and well-being.
She explained that she wants to reassure them, letting them know they are safe and that things will get better.
