The Foo Fighters are coming back to Australia this year, following a successful surprise concert in Tasmania last month.
The popular American rock band is returning to Australia in November for seven massive stadium concerts as part of their worldwide Take Cover Tour.
I’m so excited! It’s been way too long – since 2023, actually – since Dave Grohl and the rest of Foo Fighters brought their incredible live show to Australia. This is the first time they’ve toured the country since then, and I can’t wait to see them play all their hits, like ‘Best of You’, live!
The band begins its Australian tour in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on November 5th, and will then play a concert in Townsville at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium on November 7th.
The band will perform at Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 10th, and then travel to Newcastle to play at McDonald Jones Stadium on November 12th.
Fans in Melbourne can see the band perform their energetic live show on November 14th at Marvel Stadium. They’ll then head to Adelaide for a concert at Coopers Stadium on November 17th.
They wrap up their Aussie Tour with a gig at Perth’s HBF Park on January 25, 2027.
The Foo Fighters are adding two concerts in New Zealand to their tour, starting with a show at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch on January 19th.
Their last and final NZ show will be on January 22 at the Western Springs Stadium in Auckland.
The Foo Fighters kicked off their world tour in May, starting with two concerts in the US before heading to Europe with shows in Norway, Sweden, Poland, France, and the Netherlands.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that fans across the pond – in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Canada – will be able to catch these incredible artists live before they bring their tour stateside this August! It’s a fantastic opportunity for international fans to experience the show before the big US leg begins.
The band are well-known for championing Australian music, and they’ve chosen Brisbane’s Full Flower Moon Band to open for their concerts in Australia.
Joining the lineup as supporting acts are Victorian rockers Belair Lip Bombs and the all-female band The Bouys from Sydney.
The Foo Fighters are also reportedly aiming to recruit local bands in each city as support acts.
It comes after the rockers teased their return Down Under back in December.
A photo circulated online showing a massive Foo Fighters billboard placed on top of The Winston pub in Hobart, Tasmania.
The picture was posted with a quote from the band’s new song, ‘Asking For A Friend’: ‘Give me a reason, show me a sign.’
The caption also featured a link to a dedicated Foo Fighters page on the Frontier Touring website.
The link leads to a black screen featuring the Foo Fighters logo and a countdown timer promising a major announcement sometime on Wednesday.
The post was met with a flurry of excitement from Aussie fans.
Tickets for the Foo Fighters’ Australian tour will be available for Telstra Plus members starting February 20th.
The pre-sale for Frontier Members is available from February 23.
General tickets are going on sale at staggered times from February 25.
