Tina O’Brien shared a new photo on Instagram Tuesday, displaying her toned physique in a revealing bikini.
The 42-year-old actress from Coronation Street, recently single after ending her relationship with Adam Fadlé, showed off her amazing figure in a black-and-white zig-zag bikini while posing poolside.
Oh my gosh, did you SEE Tina? She looked absolutely incredible! Seriously, her abs are goals. And the way she styled it all – those huge Prada sunglasses, so chic, and a delicate gold necklace. It was a whole look, and I’m completely obsessed. I need everything she wears!
Tina enjoyed a relaxing day by the pool, opting to go without makeup. She looked youthful and showed off her figure in a fashionable bikini.
Tina shared a post on Instagram shortly after her former partner, Ryan Thomas, announced that their 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, has signed a recording contract.
The Coronation Street actor posted a picture of himself with his daughter after she signed a record deal with Big Family Music while they were at a restaurant.
He also posted a video of her singing at that same restaurant five years ago when she was 12.
He shared a video with a heartfelt message: ‘Today is an incredibly special day for me. I’ll always treasure seeing my daughter sign her first record deal.’
Everything fell into place today. When we arrived at the restaurant to finalize the agreement, Scarlett excitedly pointed out she’d been there before, and then we stumbled upon this video.
She sang ‘A Million Dreams’ while standing on a chair in front of our family, and now, five years later, we’re helping her make that dream a reality.
Scarlett, Ryan’s daughter with his former partner and co-star Tina, frequently posts singing videos on TikTok.
She posted a picture of herself signing the contract, expressing her excitement and gratitude for this incredible opportunity. She described the journey so far as amazing and is looking forward to what’s to come.
Today is a really exciting day! I’ve been working on something special for a while now, and I’m finally able to share it with everyone. I’m looking forward to a great year, and I hope it includes a lot of fantastic music.
This follows Ryan’s explanation of why he let Scarlett avoid taking her GCSE exams, a decision that sparked debate.
Scarlett shared that she did not sit the nationwide exams in a video posted to her TikTok page.
I’m seeing everyone get their GCSE results today and thinking about whether I could have done well too, but I’ll always be left wondering what might have been.
The video sparked a lot of online debate, as many people felt it wasn’t right for the teenager to skip her exams and schoolwork to pursue acting.
He defiantly said: ‘Is it even anyone’s business or concern though?’
The actress is determined to pursue a career in entertainment, just like her well-known parents, and she loves both acting and singing.
Although most teenagers in England take GCSE exams, they aren’t actually required by law. The Education Act of 1996 doesn’t make them mandatory, meaning students can choose different qualifications or stop studying at age 16 if they prefer.
She first appeared on TV in the show Waterloo Road, which also helped launch the career of her uncle, Adam Thomas, 37, making him well-known to audiences.
Scarlett has defended herself against criticism about starting her acting career so young. Some people accused her of only getting roles because of her family connections.
Scarlett posted a fun video on TikTok of herself riding in a convertible, lip-syncing to the Commodores’ classic song “Easy” from 1977.
Scarlett hit back: ‘God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.’
In the video, she wore large sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, and a brown sweater that fell off her shoulders.
When Scarlett made her first acting appearance, her mother, Tina – famous for her role as Sarah Platt on Coronation Street – shared her excitement on Instagram. Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw on the same show, is her partner.
She expressed how proud she is of Scarlett Thomas, praising her dedication to the show Waterloo Road and sharing how much she enjoyed watching her play the character Izzy.
‘Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she’s been nominated for an award.’
Scarlett is quickly becoming a rising star, gaining attention for her work on BBC’s Waterloo Road and her growing social media presence. Industry insiders estimate she could earn over £2 million before turning 18.
She’s gained a large following on social media, with over 165,000 TikTok followers and 138,000 on Instagram. She started both accounts when she turned sixteen in October.
