As a huge NiKo fan, I’m really excited about this new line of Razer gaming gear! It’s all based on their existing stuff, but designed with NiKo’s style. Honestly, the Counter-Strike community is having a lot of feelings about it – some are super impressed, and others are a little jealous, which is always funny to see!
Razer, a leading gaming hardware company, has released a new line of products called the NiKo collection. It includes a mouse, mousepad, keyboard, and headset. Even if you’re not familiar with pro gamer Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, these products are impressive thanks to their high quality and design, featuring fiery aesthetics and NiKo’s signature on select models.
Razer often creates unique designs, frequently based on popular games. However, this is the first time they’ve partnered with an individual Counter-Strike player to create a design. This collaboration could pave the way for collections featuring other well-known CS2 players. It would be great to see a line of products from a player you admire—and it doesn’t have to be exclusively with Razer.
Inspared by NiKo’s playstyle
Okay, so Razer made this new line, the NiKo collection, and it’s seriously cool looking. It’s all black and white flames on a silver background. What’s even better is they designed it with NiKo himself! Razer says the flames are supposed to represent how he plays – super competitive and full of energy, and honestly, I can totally see that connection when I look at it. It just feels fast-paced and aggressive, like his gameplay.
This collection is a really important step for me in my career. I’ve always wanted a product line that genuinely shows who I am, both as an athlete and as a person, but I wanted to get it right. Every single detail is inspired by my own experiences, what I believe in, and the values I live by as a competitor.

Praise and scepticism
The Razer NiKo collection has received a mixed response from the community. While many appreciate Razer partnering with a professional CS2 player to create a special line, opinions are largely shaped by how people view NiKo himself and the current state of the hardware market.
NiKo is undeniably one of the best Counter-Strike players, and his accomplishments speak for themselves. His fans love him, and the Razer product featuring his design is a fantastic gift for them.
The past year has been emotionally turbulent for NiKo. His move from G2 Esports to Team Falcons was controversial, with some seeing it as motivated by money and a disloyal act. So far, his results with Falcons have been inconsistent, as the team – despite its star players and experienced coach – hasn’t yet secured a major championship in CS2 esports.
Esports stars inevitably attract both admiration and criticism. In the case of the Razer NiKo collection, the negative feedback isn’t about the products themselves. Instead, people are jokingly criticizing the player for missed shots, wondering if they’d make the same mistakes even with a new mouse: “Will I also miss that with such a mouse?”
The mouse
Razer is well-regarded by many Counter-Strike players, but their products are often considered expensive. Recently, some have criticized Razer, particularly when comparing their NiKo collection mouse to the new Logitech G Pro X Superstrike. Many believe the Logitech mouse sets a new benchmark for performance, and that Razer needs to update their offerings to stay competitive.
The new design was generally well-received. It was revealed on February 16th at the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 event, a day Team Falcons overcame challenges to secure their spot in the Playoffs. Coincidentally, it was also the 29th birthday of player NiKo.
It would be fantastic to see NiKo showcasing his Razer gear while competing—and winning—at major esports tournaments.
Razer previously partnered with League of Legends star Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok to create a special edition mouse. It’s called the DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition.
