Lisa Armstrong, who is divorced from Ant McPartlin, has reduced the asking price of their old house for the third time because it hasn’t sold yet.
A large, luxurious five-bedroom house in the desirable Chiswick area of west London was once valued at around £7 to £8 million. However, a fire in September 2023 caused its value to fall to less than half that amount.
The house was first offered for sale in May 2024 for £4 million, but the price has now been reduced to £3.2 million.
Lisa, 49, started renting out the house after her divorce from Ant, 50, and is now hoping a lower price will attract a buyer.
According to a source who spoke with The Sun, Lisa is eager to sell the item and has received many inquiries, but hasn’t yet found a buyer.
The fire has caused significant damage, and it’s discouraging potential buyers – repairs are estimated to cost at least another million pounds. She simply wants to sell the property and be done with the whole situation.
Daily Mail has contacted Lisa and Ant’s representatives for comment.
Lisa first listed her house for sale in May 2024 with an asking price of £4 million. However, she removed the listing in January after reducing the price by £250,000.
But eight months later, it was listed for sale once again at £3.4million.
The property will require significant repairs, as many rooms still bear fire damage. The fire caused over £1 million in damages.
I’m absolutely in love with the garden! It’s a huge 80 feet long and faces south, meaning it gets tons of sunshine. But it’s not just the size – there’s a completely separate studio out there, perfect for guests or a home office. And inside, the listing says there’s a gym and a fantastic room that can be used as a games room, cinema, or even a bar – it’s seriously incredible!
The pictures reveal a large house with a beautiful garden featuring trees and a deck. They also show some rooms that have been damaged by fire, with scorched walls and floors.
In 2020, as part of her £31 million divorce settlement with Ant, 49, Lisa received a house. She later bought a different property nearby, which is where she lives now.
The divorced couple, who split in 2018, bought the house, for £2.3million in 2006.
Ant married his former assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021, and they welcomed their first child, a son named Wilder Patrick McPartlin, in May 2024.
I nearly fainted when I heard! Apparently, Ant bought this massive new house in Surrey – like, on this super posh street – and get this, it cost over £10 million! It’s a record price for the area, can you believe it? I’ve been stalking the street on Google Maps ever since, obviously.
It is said his purchase is costing the star more than £1million in stamp duty alone.
Although the exact location isn’t known, Ant has moved to one of several estates, most of which are in the northern part of the county.
This location offers convenient access to major highways, making it easy for him to travel to London and both Gatwick and Heathrow airports – ideal for his work as a presenter.
The presenter will likely feel comfortable in this area, as it’s home to many famous people, including Sir Cliff Richard, John Terry, Stormzy, and Gary Lineker.
Ant recently sold his expensive home in Wimbledon, southwest London, following a disagreement with his neighbors over planning issues.
According to a villager, this sale is the biggest they’ve ever seen around here, and everyone is talking about it.
This property is a large, private estate with plenty of land, so the owner is unlikely to have issues with nearby neighbors.
Ant McPartlin is financially secure thanks to a new £30 million deal with ITV, which also ensures he’ll continue working with his close friend and TV partner, Declan Donnelly.
Over the weekend both Lisa and Ant faced heartache as their dog Hurley passed away.
Sources say Ant quickly went to see his ex-partner, Lisa, at the vet shortly after finishing a press event for Britain’s Got Talent in London.
After discovering their 12-year-old dog, Hurley, was very sick and wouldn’t get better, they made the difficult choice to euthanize him.
According to The Sun On Sunday, both Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong had a chance to say goodbye to Hurley before he died peacefully, and they were with him at the time.
