Jynxzi lost a bet against IShowSpeed in Rocket League and EA FC, and as a result, had to shave his eyebrows while live streaming.
Popular streamer Jynxzi recently had a bet with another well-known content creator, IShowSpeed, playing both Rocket League and EA FC. Here’s a recap of the match and the surprising consequence – it ended up costing someone their eyebrows!
Jynxzi vs. Rocket League YouTubers, Speed
This game follows a series of recent Rocket League matches where Jynxzi bet against other online content creators.
In January, Jynxzi challenged former Rocket League pro and current YouTuber, “musty,” in a one-on-one match. The rules were simple: Jynxzi only needed to score one goal, while musty had to score 100. Despite the advantage, Jynxzi lost and had to pay $10,000.
So, a few weeks later, I ended up going up against SquishyMuffinz, another pro player. We played a bunch of games, trying to level the playing field with different rules and handicaps. The deal was, if I won just one out of five rounds, I’d win the whole bet and pocket an extra $500. But yeah, I lost again, as expected. Junko took the L once more!
Why did Jynxzi shave his eyebrows?
Jynxzi and IShowSpeed faced off in a one-on-one match on February 13th. The competition led to a lot of playful insults, heated moments, and even resulted in Jynxzi losing both of his eyebrows!
The two players started with a game of Rocket League. Because Jynxzi is better at the game, they gave Speed a head start: he began with 96 goals, and the first to 100 would win. Despite the large lead, Speed ultimately won the match with a score of 100-60.
Next, they played EA FC 26, and Speed won both matches – the first 4-1, and the second 5-1. As a result, Jynxzi had to shave off both of his eyebrows.
Jynxzi shaved his eyebrows while live streaming, and his friend, Speed, playfully teased and provoked him during the process. Naturally, Jynxzi was upset to learn it would take months for his eyebrows to grow back.
Jynxzi and Speed are two of the biggest names in online streaming and content creation. They were both recognized for their work at last year’s Streamer Awards, with Jynxzi winning the award for Best Strategy Game Streamer and Speed taking home the title of Best IRL (In Real Life) Streamer.
