Danny Cipriani’s ex-wife Victoria Rose flogs 40 of his England shirts on Vinted for hundreds of pounds… two years after he left their home with ‘no explanation’

Victoria Rose, the ex-wife of rugby player Danny Cipriani, is selling his England jerseys on Vinted for prices ranging in the hundreds of pounds.

The 44-year-old, who used to be a model but now studies the brain, has sold about 40 t-shirts, which represents half of the items she currently has for sale.

She captioned the post, explaining it was mainly a collection of personal items belonging to former England rugby player Danny Cipriani.

Throughout his career, Danny collected a large number of rugby items – jerseys, shorts, and more – from his time with England, Sale Sharks, and in international matches. Many of these items were customized, autographed, or held special meaning because they were worn during particular games or marked important achievements.

The auction includes signed rugby shirts priced at £280, as well as other items from his playing career.

Victoria initiated divorce proceedings from Danny, 38, in August 2024, following their separation nine months prior. She later alleged that Danny spent £600 each month on drugs.

In an interview last year, Victoria reiterated that she was shocked when her ex-husband announced their separation on Instagram, leaving her completely in the dark about the reasons why.

To this day, I have no idea why Danny left. Everything seemed fine – there wasn’t an argument or any warning signs. I still have many of his belongings, like his toothbrush and clothes, he only took a couple of pairs of jogging bottoms, she told The Sun at the time.

‘We were sat on the sofa watching telly and he stood up and said, “If I go now can I come back?”. 

Danny was struggling with drug use and mental health problems, and I mostly just agreed with whatever he said to avoid conflict. Once I did that, he would leave.

Danny has openly discussed his past use of cocaine and a psychedelic substance, as well as a significant experience with magic mushrooms that led him to believe someone was trying to harm him.

Days after Danny walked out of their home, he announced their split on Instagram.

Daily Mail contacted Danny’s representatives for comment at the time.

Victoria shared on Instagram that Danny announced their breakup publicly without talking to her about it first. She found out about the split when everyone else did, and she said it was very upsetting.

‘I apologise if my reactions and responses have seemed reactive or emotionally charged.

I’m still really struggling with everything that’s happened, and it’s hard for me to see Danny talking about our split publicly when I haven’t had time to process my feelings and begin to heal.

Victoria finished by saying she didn’t want any attention and apologized for any pain she may have caused.

Danny met estranged wife Victoria in 2019 and they were engaged by January 2021. 

The couple tied the knot on April 27, 2022, in a private wedding. Danny shared the happy news with his Instagram followers, writing, ‘Married my best friend today!’
