Oasis ‘are planning another tour for 2027 and are recording new music’ for the first time in nearly two decades

I’m absolutely buzzing right now! It’s being said that Oasis are planning a tour in 2027, and get this – they might even release some new music! It’s been almost twenty years since they last put anything new out, so this is incredible news for a long-time fan like me.

Oasis disbanded 15 years ago following a major falling out between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Recently, they surprised fans by getting back together for a large-scale tour in July.

According to the Sun, the band is expected to announce a series of upcoming concerts in the UK, Europe, and North America, and they might even play some new songs during those shows.

According to a source, Noel and Liam Gallagher are taking a break from touring this year to rest and recover.

‘But they know the fans are hungry for more so they want to strike while the iron is hot.’

Noel has been consistently writing throughout the year and has plenty of time to record. He felt very inspired last year and has lots of new ideas, according to those close to him.

The band is reportedly planning to have Miles Kane, of the Last Shadow Puppets, join them as a supporting act on several upcoming shows.

The Daily Mail has contacted Oasis’s representatives for a comment.  

Oasis split fifteen years ago due to the famously difficult relationship between Liam and Noel Gallagher, marked by fights, walk-offs, and frequent arguments often fueled by alcohol.

The band became famous in the 1990s, but after years of arguments, a fight backstage in Paris in 2009 led to their breakup, leaving fans heartbroken.

Noel announced at the time, ‘I’m feeling both sad and relieved to let you know that I’ve left Oasis tonight.’

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I absolutely couldn’t continue working with Liam for even one more day.

A few days later, Noel released another statement called ‘Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere,’ in which he explained that the amount of threatening language and violence directed at him, his family, friends, and colleagues had become unacceptable.

Because my manager and bandmates haven’t offered the support I needed, I’ve decided to leave and pursue other opportunities.

Since then, the brothers have been locked in a public and hostile conflict, exchanging harsh words in interviews and online.

Fans were happy the siblings reunited, but they worried the siblings’ past conflicts might cause them to cancel their performances.

However, they were overjoyed to find the tour went off without a hitch.

Noel is set to receive a major honour at the 2026 BRIT Awards later this month.

The 2026 BRIT Awards, sponsored by Mastercard, will be held on Saturday, February 28th at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester. You can watch the show on ITV, and Jack Whitehall will be hosting.

Noel is receiving this year’s Songwriter of the Year award, and many other well-known artists are expected to attend the awards ceremony.

His music has become the backdrop to countless memories and has come to represent British music around the world.

She added that recognizing Noel as Songwriter of the Year is a tribute to his incredible work and enduring influence, which continues to inspire both artists and fans around the globe.

According to a source, the BRIT Awards are preparing a special video montage celebrating Noel’s career before he receives his awards.
